It's driving me crazy! I think mid-January is the happiest weekend of the year. You get NFL Playoffs and the premiere of 24, with this season and last having a 4-hour event.

I'll never forgot how all of us were screaming for the Panthers/Bears game to end so the 24 season premiere could begin.

That's how it is with 24, which is why it's BY FAR the best show on TV.

Just finished the final disc of season 5.



The only thing that will make me happy is if Audrey Raines gets her head blown off within the first ten minutes of season 6.

For Christ sakes, can't Jack find a decent looking chick for once? Audrey has the narrowest face I have ever seen.

Nina was gross and his wife was gross. The only semi decent looking one was his girlfriend at the start of season 5, and thats pushing it.

One more thing, Bill Buchanan is the man. I like him more than Jack.

TV Guide said the exact opposite, they said the first 4 hours aren't nearly as action packed as previous seasons but it's a great start.

There's a difference between action packed and having more thrills and suspense.

Yeah, big difference. I think King was talking about how plausible the first 4 hours were, and thus how nightmarish the scenario is. I can't wait until this and Heroes resume their seasons, it's too bad they're going to be competing against each other on the same timeslot. I hope NBC has the good sense to move Heroes to 8 p.m. or on a different day instead or something, because it's going to suffer in the ratings when 24 starts its season.
