Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
I figured more people would of liked tonight's episodes, I know I loved especially the 4th one.
I'm not trying to sound negative or put down anyone but I'm not getting some of these posts. Last year the president himself helped terrorists (in a way) so people wanted more believable plots so this year:
1. Suitcase nukes (which I don't know if they are 100% known to exist in real-life, but very realistic)
2. A GOOD death (tony was done for almost no reason at all with no story except that he caused his wife's death...curtis lost men including a few beheaded on TV and was shot trying to kill Assad)
3. Jack's well being is affected (not totally but he has barely wanted to even help out and after curtis said he wouldn't come back, of course he will, but is at a low point and has been affected)
I'm sure I am missing one and there are a lot of minor things but really those 3 major problems have not been one early on. I guess maybe I am used to 24 since for example I wasn't sure Curtis would be killed but did not "see it coming", I figured something would happen but wasn't counting on it. Same with the suitcase nuke, I figured that at the last second or whatever someone would secure it, etc. (what MAJOR disaster has ever happened with 24 besides the other year? Even then they stopped most of the plants, this time they failed with the first problem)
Looking forward very much to next week.(long wait
) Anyone know where I can get the preview at? Thanks.

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
Well, just got done watching tonight's shows and reading through this thread...and I have to say that I don't think I'm going to be that big a part of this thread this season. Simply put, I found out TOO MUCH regarding the ending of tonight's two hours that pretty much ruined and made it predictable what would happen. Not blaming anyone in particular, because I had read some stuff throughout this thread about the premiere even before last night.
I just need to avoid these things because, while it didn't necessarily affect my enjoyment of the show, I could have been even MORE floored by the occurances in the fourth episode.
That said, WOW. I don't think I have ever been as disturbed and shocked by what happened.
Longhorn is right, this season is just disturbing because it's so real. Car bombs, suicide bombs, suitcase bombs, etc. These are all REAL possibilities, and to see them unfold in such a way on the show, it just scares the living hell out of me.
I can't think of any specific comments, because I tried avoiding the thread from the start of the premiere through the end tonight, for spoilers and whatever. Trying to comment on four hours worth of 24 is just really difficult.
Anyone else pissed that 1/6th of the season is done, already?!Comment
