Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
That warehouse scene reminded me of Lethal Weapon 2 at the end of the movie.
After beating the crap out of each other, Gibson limps away and presses a button on the long chain and down come a crate on the bad guy with a gun aimed.
Somewhat similar.
Best Show This Season, most of it action packed.Comment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
Overall, I liked the episode. But, it was a very anti-climatic ending to the nuke storyline(I assume it's over).Comment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
I really like the turn it took tonight. Instead of rehashes of Jack saving the day for his country, he makes it personal and the rest of the season looks like no threat of terrorist activity. After thinking the show might have run its course, it comes back with one of its best episodes and a new direction. I wonder if the writers just made this up when the NINE was cancelled and Kim Ravor was free.Comment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
Best ep in a LONG time. One of the best fight scenes in 24 history, as well. This was truly a great ep, and I think the nuke storyline ended in the best way possible for 24. It was hardly anticlimactic, IMHO.
Jack's war with China is back to the forefront so this should be a very interesting series of eps coming up.Comment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
That fight scene at the end reminded me of Die Hard. Heck, Bruce Willis even said something to the villian he was killing about his brother too. It was still great but just somewhat derivative. Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
Jack clinging to the underbelly of the truck while it was moving reminded me of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. It was really cool when he did that, though, and perhaps they were paying a little homage to the game or something, because there are a few 24 eps that seem to have been inspired or at least similar to missions in the Splinter Cell games.Comment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
I am SO angry.
I got about 3/4s through (at the point where Jack hitched a ride on the garbage truck) when my mom got home, so I started the episode over from the beginning for her benefit...and my dad text messages me about the ending...which I hadn't seen yet.
Nevertheless...Jack killing Fayed was amazingly awesome, and the Audrey thing blew me away, because the part with the Chinese wasn't spoiled.Comment

Interesting, I made a reference a page back that the warehouse scene reminded me of Lethal Weapon 2 when Gibson's character is limping and he pushes the green button on the chain to lower the crate.Comment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
- Well I started the Audrey countdown clock last week and she sort of appeared this week. I'm 99.9% sure she's not really dead. Kim Raver wouldn't work out a contract to appear on The Nine and 24 just so her character would die off screen. When Cheng mentioned the US government paid a heavy price to get Bauer back, I bet you the US government gave China Audrey. They probably faked her death so Bauer wouldn't go back to China looking for her.
Best episode of the season!!!
- Palmer's fake out with the nukes was great. The fake attack on Bauer and Doyle was great. Both of these events surprised me.
- Bauer going under the truck was original and pretty badass. I got pretty excitied when Bauer went inside the warehouse to take out Fayed and his men. The final kill was great. I cracked up when Fayed threw his gun at Bauer. I'm pretty sure a bullet to the head wouldn't even take down Bauer.
- Hey Chloe doubled her line count this week. It went from 1 to 2. I noticed they planted the seeds of a Chloe is jealous of Nadia storyline tonight.Comment
