This one looks inredibly low budget lol.

    And the story looks........ laughable.
It's the high altitude you live in. It's starting to cloud your judgment.

I loved the first 4 Rocky movies, but 5 blew, and I think this one will too. I'll give it a chance though.

        Strictly on quality as films
        Rocky
        Rocky III
        Rocky IV
        Rocky II
        Rocky V

In order of watchability and overall "fun factor"
        Rocky IV
        Rocky III
        Rocky
        Rocky V
        Rocky II
Don't fully understand your "dual ranking" concept-seems to be some "overthinking" involved. First of all I don't see how anyone can not rank the original as easily the best of the series, simply because it was original and the only true classic of the Rocky run. It didn't win "Best Picture" by mistake. I have to throw out IV and V altogether. The killing of Apollo Creed was dramatic, but unnecessary, and Rocky's revenge was softened by too much sentimentality and preaching at movie's end. V featured too much of a brain damaged Rocky that I'd just as soon forget. II had some slow moments, but also my favorite line in all the Rockys when Adrian comes out of her coma and says "Win....Win" and also the great start of the movie with Apollo and Rocky in the hospital minutes after their first fight. III filled more gaps than II, and I enjoyed the Rocky/Apollo "moments". My rankings:
        Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III

Great comments. Some might laugh, but at the end of Rocky where he is screaming for Adrian, man it gets me every time.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

I for one, am incredibly excited about this film... couple things I noticed from IMDB though... Rocky Balboa

Talia Shire nor her character Adrienne are in this movie. I wonder how they explain that.

Also take a look near the bottom at who Lahmard J. Tate plays... yep, I'm famous!

I believe the Adrienne character had passed away.

The part when roc is talking about the stuff in the basement is great. I think this will be better then rocky 5 but i don't know how good this will be compared to the other Rocky movies. How old is sly, he doesn't look much older then he did in Rocky 5.

Sly is 60 and he does look significantly older than in V, at least to me. Still, he's in great shape for that age.
