I was an hour in at that point.... It was during that first hour or so. Once it started to tie everything up, the ending was great and tied the stuff from the beginning all back together.

I told you when I was IM'ing you, I was currently watching it, not done with it.

      Re: The Prestige

Ok, I finally got around to watching this last weekend.

First off, I had the whole ENTIRE movie figured out and called at the half way point. Which is actually really surprising.

Secondly, I still loved the movie. I have never been a Hugh Jackman fan, but I liked him in this role. And Bale is always amazing. Loved it.

Just rented it tonight. Very enjoyable movie.

I wish I had time to watch it again before I have to return it on Wednesday.

          ****SPOILER***

Me too, I didn't think it was that hard to figure out...especially when they did the canary thing at the start of the movie.

            Re: The Prestige

Saw it on DVD for the first time tonight and I think the ending was extremely incredulous. Maybe part of the problem was that I was watching it off and on at work and couldn't get a flow with it. But I'd have to give The Illusionist one up on this movie.

              Re: The Prestige

Very good movie.......I finally watch this movie on BD tonight and I was entertained from start to finish. Those 2 hours flew by so fast, but not without some confusion. I really need to see this movie again and I missed some parts as my 2 kids weren't feelin' too well. When I can find this at a lower price I'll pick it up.

ZB, I'll add that to my Netflix que as I've heard mixed reactions about it but still want to check it out.

                    Correction...

The Illusionist isn't NEARLY as good as the Prestige.

The Prestige is simply awesome. Two huge thumbs up.

Saw it a few weeks ago on DVD. Great movie with a great ending.

Excellent film. Nice touch adding Chung Ling Soo. He was actually White and not Chinese like people thought.

                          Re: The Prestige

I watched the Prestige and the Illusionist about two months ago.

I remember the ending to the Illusionist and loved it. I can't even remember what happened in the ending of the Prestige.

                          The Illusionist was better.

                            Agree to disagree.

Prestige was a lot better, in my opinion and that's even with me being a big fan of Norton.

What a coincidence that this thread was brought up... I just introduced my dad to this movie earlier today.

Sorry that I sort of broke up that Illusionist/Prestige debate.
