Me, on the other hand? I was 16-17 years old, an athlete who played baseball and football in HS. I was not a computer geek. And the females were pretty cute, too. I used to love it when our BBS had our monthly "get togethers" at a park, a pool hall, a bowling alley, etc. Those girls were usually flirting with me left and right...meanwhile the other dudes couldn't stand me.

I remember our computers when I was in kindergarten and first grade with ATARIS with tape drives. We'd play States and Capitals whenever we could.
Also, until I was about 6 or 7, we could dial anywhere in town (on our rotary phone) by just using the last 4 digits ONLY.
