So how do the other's "know" about our heroes. Just like that one lady who said she knows Sun and knows she won't shoot her on the boat. And they keep saying they are the good guys. Its almost like everyone is meant to be on the island and it wasn't an accident that they are there.

They must have gotten the identies of everyone from the airplane manifest and then used their outside contacts to find info on all of them.
But I think you're right. I think everyone of them was handpicked and corraled by Hanso people to get on that plane.

I know this is a weird theory but what if it was a perverted version of the movie "The Game"? Where all the people on the island were put there by a loved one to help them out.
This seems really farfetched considering some have died. But every one of the main characters is fighting some inner demon.

I love this show but I wish the ratings would start tanking, forcing the producers to wrap it up so I can hear the answers to everything.

I always thought the people on the plane are all connected and they all landed on the island for a reason, but then we learn that the cause of the plane crash was Desmond forgetting to push the button. That's random and not in control of the Others. If Desmond had pushed the button, the plane wouldn't have crashed and they never would have been there, so that kind of kills the idea that the plane crashed there for a specific controlled reason.

This is true. And Ben and the 'others' seemed genuinly stunned by the crashing plane.
But it still doesn't explain why they have so much interest in them. Or why they simply wouldn't help them.
It must have to do with the experiments they're performing and the fact that the outside world can't know about them.

Why in the world would you watch 4 ep's in season 1, then tonight's ep? Of course things aren't going to make sense, plus you just ruined many twists.

Juliette looks like a blonde Carrie-Anne Moss with a bigger chest.

Damon Lindelof said he wants the show to end after 4 or 5 seasons. I assume this season will be about the Lost folks vs. The Others. I can't see them doing the same thing next season if that's the last season. Maybe another group will be found on The Island, making it a potential 3 way battle.

I'm sure once the real reason everybody is on the Island gets revealed, it will be a huge letdown.

I love Jin and Sun's back story... that's one of the more interesting ones in the entire show. So is it safe to assume Jin doesn't know ANYTHING about her betrayal?? Didn't he see pearls/jewelry in that bastards hand?

And ya gotta love Sawyer's spilling of the water... that guy plays his part SOO well.

Jin has moved up to #3 on my favorite character list...but I'm sure Locke will regain that spot when he actually gets some airtime.

Sawyer and Jack have just grew into their roles so amazingly I don't see any other character on the show surpassing either of them.
