From my recollection Juliet looks the same as she does now, maybe only younger since the movie was from 1998. And yes, Juliet and Gia get it on, complete with topless nudity.Comment

I hope we get to see more of the "others" back story. How they ended up being on the island, finding out their purpose and then later breaking free from "the enemy."Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion****
Is anybody convinced that "The Others" have been there their whole lives as Ben said to Jack? I get the feeling they haven't, but I'm just going on Juliet's first appearance.

How did her rack look?
I think Jin has a very good idea that kid isn't his and that she had an affair with Japanese-Kojak.
He's not an idiot and surely he would have put all the clues together. He gives the guy a chance at life. The guy jumps out of his window with a string of pearls in his hands. Kojak was yelling "I'm sorry" over and over again.
Jin surely would have seen that the guy didn't want to go on living unless he could be with the woman those pearls were meant for.
Now add in the fact that his father-in-law, who hates his guts is suddenly calling him 'son' and telling him that they've been shamed.
Jin put two-and-two together. Jin kick ***. Jin Money99's favourite character next to Sawyer and Echo.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion****
Korean actually mate...
Anyway, I've just about had it with Lost. They've totally ruined the Sun back story as far as I am concerned.
And the way they lead into it with Sayid saying 'and what would you know about lying' was the most obvious, predictable, laughable lines in the show.
And it seems they can turn any character into either a good guy or bad guy with the flick of a switch depending on the back story shown.
There's too much of a feeling that the writers are making stuff up as they go, which has really made the show go on a downhill slide.
I mean, geez the first 2 shows of a new season and they can't get something special happening? We just watched them digging and moving rocks for 40 minutes.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion****
I wouldn't automatically think it's not Jin's baby.
The scene that shows Sun laying in bed with the other guy, it's not clear if they actually had sex or not. She says, "I can't," when he starts kissing her, so maybe they didn't do the deed yet.
Also, even though Jin was sterile, the island may have changed that. It seems to heal people's problems, like Locke and Rose. It may have changed Jin's condition, too.
I'm thinking it is his kid because the obvious (that she had an affair and it's not his kid) is hardly ever the truth on this show.Comment

I have it recorded, so I can check again, but I'm almost positive she said, "I can't."
She also told Jin in an earlier episode that she's never been with another man. Of course, the whole point of this episode is that she can lie, so who knows?Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion****
I don't get the people that are losing their patience, to be honest. The show has had the same format since the beginning.
Each episode will likely answer a question, but also bring up new ones, with a a flahsback thrown in to give more insight into a character's past. That's exactly what these first 2 episodes have done.
There are about 24 episodes each season, right? People thought all the answers for last season were going to come in the 1st two episodes?Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion****
And I agree with Admiral50. I don't like how they can just turn someone from being good to bad in the bat of an eye.
And I've heard that the writers are making things up as they go. Maybe not the premise of the Island but the smaller stories that occur.
The actor that plays Michael was on a local radio station after the season finale this spring and he admitted that the writers had NO intentions of turning him into a bad guy and having him kill two people. Rumours were flying months before that episode aired that both Rodrigues and the chick that played Abby were getting canned for their drunken behavoir.
I also don't like what they've turned Locke into. He was very cool and collected and barely got riled up. Now he's like a 12 year old girl that has a temper tantrum if someone even suspects that Jack is running the show. Season 1 Locke wouldn't have cared. He would have just kept on doing his thing.
But it's time this show started answering a few questions that still linger from the 1st episode. All they do is raise new ones every week.Comment

He certainly appeared, in the previews, to be more of the bad-*** from season 1, than the season 2 Locke(which I didn't like either)Comment

And would someone finally kill off Hurley? I think he says 'Dude' more than he eats. Which is a lot. Because he's fat.Comment
