Didn't Micheal and Walt leave on the boat from season 1? That would leave them with 1 boat right? Unless I am missing something.

That is interesting, because when they captured Ben/Henry Gayle, he told Locke in the hatch that he was coming for him before he was caught in the net. I never understood that, and still don't considering he wasn't one of the people on the list for Micheal to bring back.

Actually...all they did was show Jack ASSUME it was Ben with the tumor. Ben didn't respond, and gave no real facial expression away...so that could be Jack's persistence and confidence in his talents coming into light again.

When Colleen talks to Pickett about going to get Desmond's boat, she mentions that they're taking the "Galaga" to go get it. This was near-inaudible on TV and only revealed through closed-captioning, apparently. I think that remark, coupled with the "sub" remark from last night's show means the Others almost definitely have some kind of submarine. That would explain how they got to Desmond's boat undetected and came up on it from the water.

Desmond can clearly see the future now. He predicted Locke's speech a few episodes ago, but last night was very hard evidence. He asked Claire to take the baby and move down to the beach for the night, after she declined his offer to fix her roof. And then he rigged the golf club as a lightning rod to divert the strike that would have hit her dwelling.

I also think it's very possible that Sawyer doesn't have a daughter at all and the woman Sawyer conned ended up conning him into believing he has a daughter and wiring her all that money.

And as for the tumor x-rays, possibilites abound. Whose are they? Did Jack really see a tumor, or is he making it up? He knows Juliette doesn't have the medical training to call his bluff on that. Remember when Jack heard his dad's voice through the intercom? Juliette told him it hasn't worked for years so we all threw that away as Jack hallucinating, but he clearly heard Sawyer through the same intercom last night while he was on the table. Jack's dad - still alive and on the island?

And who was the guy in the video with the patch? A former inhabitant of the Pearl we would assume, since that's where Locke found the glass eye. But who is it? Is it the Radzinski guy that Desmond said blew himself up in the hatch? Is it some kind of separtist member of the Others? Maybe these other Others are the bad guys the Others we know speak of, in comparison to them being the good guys.

Damn, I love this show. So much fun to think about and analyze. I'm really looking forward to going back and watching the whole show after I know what's going on, so I can look for clues I missed the first time around.

Wasn't this boat given to Walt and his dad? Or was it the boat they "built?"

I think they actually are on a different island. It would make sense as to why when the Others were dressed like savages, they didnt allow the survivors to cross "that line." The area on the otherside of that line was probably the only part of the island in which the Others' island is visible.

If they were on their own island they wouldve responed immediately to Kate's escape attempt but since they knew she would have nowhere to go, they left it alone and let the situation play out (and also because they probabl wanted to test her)

Did anyone get why the guy who lost his wife was beating Sawyer and telling Kate to say she loved him? He knew it couldntve been him.

Also Kate definitly loves Sawyer but refuses to admit it. There's definitly a chemistry there and she seems to be the first personn hes ever cared about other than himself.

- Last night show got a 10.3 rating, this is up from last week.

- Worst episode of the season. Nothing really happened. Who knows if that Island at the end is really where the Lost people are or if Sawyer actually has a kid.

I might be alone here, but I don't really care who Kate chooses.

- Only 2 episodes to go before the long break. I'm a expecting a big twist/cliffhanger at the end of episode 6.

I predict either a major character dies or some new background information that really changes the dynamic of the show. I'll toss out the idea that Jack and Juliet are really brother and sister.

- I'm really pleased there are a ton of Season 1 DVD features (I've only seen a little bit so far). I liked watching the auditions. After watching that section, I could easily see Matthew Fox as Sawyer.

- Several of the Lost cast members have appeared on 24:

Claire's fortune teller was the Russian President last season
Jack's Dad was the father of Kate and Marie Warner from Season 2
Desmond was the German agent last season

I would like to know if Desmond can really see the future, why didn't he warn Bauer the Chinese would come after him last season? LOL
