I was just thinking the same thing last night after the episode ended. Maybe not as strident as BadPhil, but there's something SERIOUSLY wrong with America if this show gets canceled yet we're into our 58th season of "Survivor."

I'm more of a Tyra fan, but Lyla just looked bangin' tonight with her fun bags all but hanging out of that top when she, Street and Riggins went on the road trip.

The scene where Coach Taylor came to the kid's house and apologized for his player beating up the kid was VERY powerful.

I LOVE this show, and I've been out of high school for 23 years!

another great episode. anyone know how the ratings have been for the last few weeks including the Monday Night tryout last week?

best show on network TV that I have seen in a long time.

Well yes, more a statement of exasperation. I haven't liked a television show this much in a long time. Even my wife agrees. It just does so much right, and it just hurts to think that people would rather watch crap like Survivor, as PK said. Not to mention that the production values are fantastic.

I think the show needs to be moved to another night. Certainly couldn't do any worse in a different time slot.

Quick question on Sarazin (sp), isn't it pretty impressive for a sophomore to be on the varsity team of this level in Texas?

Yes, normally they have the system working so well that they always have a senior quarterback starting and then the backup is probably a junior. However, the rare talent will come along where an underclassmen enters one of those roles. It is very uncharacteristic, and I think it is used more for the storyline in the show than anything else.

Exactly, they can keep Sarazin around alot longer than the other guys
