There's no way ESPN would ever air something of this quality. ESPN should be called LCDSN -- Lowest Common Denominator Sports Network.

Think of nearly every bit of "original" ESPN programming -- "Playmakers," "Season on the Brink," "Junction Boys," "3," etc. It's all sucked.

The only ESPN movie worth a sh*t was "Four Minutes," the story of Roger Bannister breaking the four-minute mile, and all of 27 people saw that. I was one of them.

Putting it on NBC in the evening is like airing Days of Our Lives on ESPN during the day. I'm not surprised this show is not holding up well against other shows in the same slot. I'm also not really sure who the target audience is.

The targe audiance is teens and the 18-36 demo. Also it got killed in its time slot not because of the type of program but because it went against some of the other network's top shows. Dancing with the Stars is a top 5 show for ABC. Same with House. Same with NCIS.

I thought the show was very well done, and it finally gives me something to watch on Tuesdays.

That's my favorite thing about the show. I have nothing else to watch on Tuesday, so I like having this now.

I read the show will focus mainly on the characters and not so much on the games the team plays. They also said there would be a football game played every 4 to 5 episodes.

I thought the first episode was pretty good. It definitely had the same kinda feel as the movie did.

Nothing spectacular, but I was entertained. I'll at least be watching next week.

Seemed more like it had a Varsity Blues type of feel than Friday Night Lights. Which isn't necesarrily a bad thing. Maybe it is me but a star QB and a severe spinal cord injury doesn't mesh too well.

Finally saw it last night on NBC.com. Sure, the end was a bit of a stretch with the long TD throw for the win, but as a whole, it was a great episode. It has the exact same feel as the movie, and I'm loving it.

Enjoyable, but the end was a big strech in my mind, i know 15 minutes into the show that the starting QB was gonna get injuried. The media around the players is very unrealistic, as well as the characters off the field.
