    Oh no, this is GREAT news for this show. First, the expectations are way lower for this show on Friday than it would be if it aired on Tues or Wed. NBC's President sad that he would be happy if FNL got a 2.5 in the Friday. FNL averaged around the mid 3s this season.

    Also, DVR and Tivos are now taken into consideration w/ ratings so while some people may not watch it live because they are out, they will watch it on their DVR's

    I would rather have it on Friday at 10 and get a full season then have it a Tuesday at 8, watch the show get its *** kicked by shows like House and American Idol and get cancelled after 6 weeks.

        Good point, I guess I never thought of it that way. Now what confuses me a little is that NBC renewed Law & Order which currently occupies that time slot, so I wonder when that will be on.

            L&O will start in the winter on Sundays after Football season is over.

                    Well I got the dvd's today. I'm a little dissapointed that there aren't too many extra features but at least now I can delete the episodes off of my computer.

                        I just started watching this series on Netflix, I am 8 episodes in and WOW! I love it. So much already going on in the first 8 episodes. I watched 4 last night.

                            Me and the wife just started this show last summer and i have watched all 5 seasons over the last year. I have to say it is now probably my favorite tv show of all time. I don`t think I have ever had a tv show hook me in like Friday Night Lights did.

                                Same, I started like 2 Weeks ago. I'm on Season 3 Now and I really like this Show.

                                    One of the best shows ever. So much more real to how it is here then the movie portrays.

                                        Watching an episode from season 1. Saracen and Julie look the exact same as they did in the series finale.

                                            Absolutely not. The progression of Julie Taylor was on of the highlights of the entire series.

                                                        The episodes are addictive. My wife and I missed several episodes of season 3 so I bought the dvd when it came out and I believe we ended up watching the entire season in about 3 days. It was one episode right after the other for us.

                                                        We have the final season on our dvr, but haven't been able to finish it yet. I believe we are 6 episodes in. I'm hoping we get it finished soon, but in a way I don't want to because I realize that after those episodes, there will be no more. It's a shame the show didn't do better than it did. It's definitely one of my all-time favorites.

                                                            Season five is on Hulu Plus. I watched all five seasons in a little under a month. Really great show. I'm looking forward to the movie.
