That's why it was genius to me. They showed nothing, and it was very tense, and then it ended. Genius film making IMO.

BWP was a big success because of its marketing, not because of the film itself.

As a film, standing alone by itself, it isn't anything special, in my opinion.

I don't know, the plot was great. The idea of using a camcorder angle was pretty smart. The acting wasn't that great but it didn't need to be great.

Eh, ya, I guess it was a better movie than I give it credit for.

Its just, I'm one of those movie fans that when a movie has huge hype, and it doesn't knock my socks off, I'm disappointed.

BWP final scene left me with Goosebumps.. I was 1 of those who thought it was a true story. Still 1 of my favorites..

            Here's a Movie poster for Tarantino/Rodriguez's Grindhouse

I can always watch halloween 1 and 2. The rest in this series were either mediocre or terrible.

I ranked my top 50 horror movies on my blog, that was a lot harder to do than I first thought. I had every intention of throwing a picture up of every movie, but after getting about 13 up, I has having size troubles with the rest, and being a neat freak, I wanted them all the same size to make it look clean. So I gave up on the movie pictures..LOL I was tired when I finished it so my descriptions are a little weak as well. I basically pulled out all my horror DVD's and spread them out on the family room floor and ranked them that way. So if it's on my list, I own it.

Nice list. I'm surprised the only Italian Horror Film on your list is Suspiria. Movies like Tenebre, The Beyond & Zombie are CLASSICS. As for Asian Horror, surprised that movies like The Eye & The Grudge didn't make the list.. As for American Movies, Maniac, Don't Look Now, The Sentinel & The Changeling are gr-8 movies ..

Other than that your list looks good..

I liked The Grudge, but enjoyed Ju-On more. For Italian horror, I love Fulci's stuff like Zombi, but not enough for my 50 I guess. It was hard to do a top 50, and some of my list stayed on there because I loved them as a kid or feel I can watch them over and over more.
