Re: Seinfeld or Friends?
Seinfeld without question.
The Marine Biologist episode alone takes out any Friends episode you could give me. Hell, that episode goes down as one of the all time TV classics.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Re: Seinfeld or Friends?
I started watching both in the summer/ fall of '95, the second year of "Friends" and the first year that "Seinfield" reruns were showing in my area. I can't even remember the first couple of episodes of reran "Seinfield"s I watched but it prompted me to catch the '95 season opener and every first run Seinfield since then. Over the summer of that year I watched a few "Friends" reruns, then I caught Courtney Cox hosting "Saturday Night Live" and I was hooked. Although the show redeemed itself (IMO) with it's last year I think it went way downhill with the Monica/Chandler romance, and I thought they messed with the Ross/Rachel chemistry too much. I actually stopped watching the show from 2001, picking up the habit for the serie's last year. I voted for Seinfield of course. It surpassed "Cheers" as my favorite comedy, only because Shelley Long left too early.
I have to put "All In The Family" alongside "Cheers" as #2, and I agree with you about the show plummeting when Mike and Gloria left. It actually lost a little (not a whole lot) when the Stivics moved out of Archie's house into (I believe )the Jefferson's old house.Originally posted by SPTO
So in the end Seinfeld gets the nod for me however the greatest comedy show of all time goes to All in the Family until the Meathead and Gloria characters leave the show. That's when it jumped the shark. Even then, it still had some worthwhile episodes. AITF touched on some very serious subjects but was never OVERLY preachy like '80s sitcoms got.
I got a little burned out on "Seinfield", because I've watched so many episodes multiple times. In a few months I'll be ready to watch them all over again.Originally posted by PsyblastThere should be an All-Seinfeld channel. I swear I'd never turn it off.

Neither but like Flyboy, I guess I'm a robot too.
As far as funnier goes there always futurama, that 70's show, Lucky Louie and some others that I can't think of right now.Last edited by jmood88; 08-17-2006, 08:23 AM.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Seinfeld or Friends?
Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? The few times I watched the clips, I just saw people doing odd things, that seemed funny (if you were to watch the entire episode) but to others it was just something that was so stupid, it was funny.Originally posted by RubenDouglas
btw shugknight. watch AD. youll hate me later
Am I on the right track here with AD? Or did it really have a funny plot?
I also should of put Everybody Loves Raymond on here. There are times, when that show is hilarious itself. Maybe because most of the jokes are on the man's point of view. Like the time he had control over the bedroom because he said "NO" to his wife when she asked for sex (That wife is SMOKIIINN)
I do agree though with some of the negative friends posts. I think if it wasn't for Courntey Cox, Jennifer Anniston, or Pheobe (Not sure of her real name) it probably wouldn't have such a huge audience. I remember watching it for the first time, simply just to see a glimpse of Jennifer Anniston. The jokes were just extra.Comment
