IMO "Friends" was a B+ show, but not an "A" . I'd put "King Of Queens", "Frasier", "Seinfield", "All In the Family", and "Cheers" ahead of "Friends". Of course one of my alltime favorite shows is "Leave It To Beaver" and I'd group it in my "A" list.Originally posted by MagicBucsWsoxFanComment

I'd just like to echo the 113 people before me who have said "Seinfeld" in a landslide.
Larry David just gets situational comedy, pure and simple. I'd put "Curb Your Enthusiasm" right up on the list but it's in another category, with the improvisation of scenes and being on HBO, all that.
"Seinfeld" is referenced by myself and my friends, and a bunch of my relatives on a daily basis. Just so relatible that everyone can associate themself in the situation or just laugh at the awkward and goofy scenarios.
I've seen a few episodes of "Friends" and have laughed a few times, so that's about one laugh an episode. It just doesn't do it for me, not sure what it is but it's not stuff I can relate to. That translates to comedy much better to me.Comment
