LOL. Another network might as well make a show called "Saviors" and rip off of every tried and true comic book formula. I like the show and it's fun to watch, but damn if I wasn't Alan Moore or Chris Claremont or any of the other writers who are being ripped off (Ironic that the W brothers ripped off the Matrix from somebody else...).

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Best episode yet by FAR! Action, pacing, character development, revelations...
The writers have done a good job in creating some solid characters. Hiro, Endo, Peter (even if the actor has a tendency to overact...), Nathan, Sylar.
I mean, crap, has there been a more menacing villain than Syler on network TV?The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

Best episode by far. Aw man that was a good episode. I would have really liked to see more that Peter/Sylar fight. Sylar is one of the best villians ever. Too bad D.L. had to find out the hard way. Great job to the writers. I am gonna watch this again online tonight, it was that good. My #1 show on tv by far right now.
Oh yeah, sure you could say that it's a blatant rip off of X-men or whatever, but Marvel's mutants being discriminated against is not an original idea you know. Real life governments (including ours) have been guilty of it all through out history. They are merely taking a real life scenario and putting a super powered spin on it. It's a tale that's been told in many cultures, and not just in a comic book.
Can't wait for the next three episodes, and the Season 1 DVD.PS: You guys are great.

I love the show, but every episode is like a callback to something that's been done before (and recently in some cases).
The Watchmen thing pissed a LOT of people off because they are trying to get that movie off of the ground (finally) and the entire plot of Watchmen is basically Heroes (with some time travel mixed in to separate the two). The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

That was easily the best episode thus far. Definitely had a Matrix feel to it but it worked. The next 3 episodes should be great.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Same here. I just got done watching what I could. Cut off when Mohinder was telling Hiro he needed to go now and Parkman was trying to break down the door. The Sylar/Peter battle would have been cool to watch too.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
The only thing that happened was that Hiro made it out of there and made it back to New York 5 years in the past.
I can't believe Sylar became the most powerful person in the world not only by his powers but pretending to be the President. Great stuff. I can't believe how powerful Peter and Sylar got. That would be the end of the world if those two went to the extreme with their powers.
I'm real excited to catch next weeks episode also where "Molly" is the only one that can stop Sylar. I wonder what she can do!Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
I am a little confused now as I always get with stories involving time travel. Ok, Future Hiro went back to tell Peter to save the cheerleader. That way, when present Hiro stabs Sylar he can't regenerate. Well, Sylar was in the future and so was Claire. But wasn't Sylar supposedly stabbed years earlier? How did he live? Was it the girl he spoke of, the one they will introduce next week?
The psychic cop turned into a real *******. Peter turned into a real rebel, lol, it looked comical to me, him and jessica running a strip club and all. Mohinder needed a haircut, badly, and a shave.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Sylar fakes his own death, kills Nathan, uses Candace's powers (?) and tricks everyone into thinking he's Nathan. That's how he lives.
Also, I don't think Hiro killing Sylar really changes anything that much other than Sylar doesn't take over as president. The bomb still goes off because of Peter.Comment
