Honestly, that episode was pretty weak compared to the others. More of a setup for next week and upcoming episodes. I guess with the long delay and the weeks of hype, I was looking for too much too soon.

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
The show is cool and all, but I feel like I'm being strung along (the reason I gave up on Lost). I'm not a big fan of riddles upon riddles upon riddles.
I love TV, but how come I always end up watching my DVD sets of Curb Your Enthusiasm or Arrested Development over and over again? The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

Hayden Panettiere
I liked tonights episode. I agree with the poster who said he may have been expecting too much after the layoff. The pacing was was pretty much what I expected it to be. Anyone have any good Linderman theories? I am very curious about this 'person'.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Excellent ep. I really love how they build up momentum in this show.
I don't understand what's wrong with the riddles upon riddles aspect of the show. With this show, you can guarantee there's going to be some kind of payoff, and it's not like there's a grand overarching story they're telling which they string along for eternity. Yes, they talk about the nuke from nearly the very beginning of the show, but you can bet that'll be the show's climax at the end of the season. There's going to be a payoff, so what's the big deal? There's no grand mystery here, IMHO, unless you're wondering how they got their powers in the first place. In which case, the show pretty much tells it like it is: God or evolution, whichever you prefer, or both.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
You guys have to remember that this episode was used as a device to reintroduce the characters and the story to the people who are just now jumping on board and also to serve as a recap after 5 weeks. I thought it was perfect in that respect.
Linderman theories???? I have a few:
#1) Nathan is Linderman
#2) Nathan and Peter's Dad who is supposed to be dead is actually alive and is Linderman
#3) Linderman is actually the warrior that was discussed in the museum who's powers have kept him alive for centuries
#4) (My Brother's Theory which I don't agree with) Nikki/Jessica has an additional personality that is Linderman
Most likely, I think Linderman is a character that we have not met yet.
***
Question from last night... did the rest of you get the same thing I did from the museum scene? When Hiro and Ando were talking about the symbol and the warrior who was the original owner of the sword. I got two things from that:
1) That the powers are natural. They come from "God". They are not a result of a cosmic wave or something comic book-esque.
2) (Most important) Powers have been around of centuries dating all the way back to at least this warrior in ancient times.
All in all, good episode.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

Agreed. Maybe Linderman worked with the Indian guy's dad and that's why he already knows a lot about the heroes.Comment
