    Before Christmas?

Heroes is only 8 episodes in and it has a full season of episodes still left. You wont' see that DVD until the summer.

I read his post and was like, WTF!? Hehe.

I would love for them to make a DVD before Christmas for their first 14 epi's or so.

        *edit*

Did anyone else think that the little boy Ayer Sonjag was Mohinder when he was younger? I thought it was just his imagination, but its not. Also do you think Mohinder has superpowers that he doesn't know of yet?
You mean Sanjog Iyer, and no, I don't think he's Mohinder at all. Totally different name for one thing. Unless he was adopted like Claire was, and had a different name before he came into the family or something (not at all likely). Would be kind of a cool twist though if it happened to be Mohinder after all, but his parents, especially his father never regarded Mohinder as special, only his deceased sister, and I think the father would know.

I think Mohinder's ordinary, but he seems to be of some value to Claire's father or else he wouldn't have wanted Mohinder to stay.

Why did Claire's dad try to freak Mohinder out in the first place when they first met in the cab if he wanted Mohinder to stay? And why not be upfront about what he wants with Mohinder at least?

Then she should have recognized Hiro when they met at the diner for the "first" time, and it means that her death could not be averted. Unless they're going to involve parallel dimensions of some sort, I don't see how Hiro's time traveling can change anything and still be logically consistent though. And if they did involve parallel dimensions, then Hiro let one dimension go to hell in order to save a girl who died in that dimension, and abandoned Ando there as well, because NY will be most likely destroyed in that dimension by Hiro abandoning that dimension.

Then again, I don't think Heroes really has a lot going for it as far as logical consistency goes, it's just a really fun show to watch, like 24 or Prison Break IMHO.

hehe the problem is that they showed his friend in the restaurant in the end with him counting to 5 and Hiro not appearing....kinda sent everyone on a loop...if it were shown in Hiro's end then everything would make better sense since he's the one changing things instead we see his friend in real time counting to 5 and nothing changes except the photograph on the wall.....i dunno im reaching here...

i dont think we'll be seeing Hiro for awhile since next weeks episodes deals with the cheerleader...

Maybe he thought he had Hiro's power or something and figured he could travel into the future to get the DVD before Christmas.

                I meant NEXT Christmas.. geez!!!

Oh and BTW I thought it was like the 9th episode, and they would make a 12-episode season. Which in my calculations would be right before Christmas.. Hence the reason why I thought a DVD would come out.

No I know hes not Mohinder, but the first time the boy appeared (with the soccer ball) I immediately thought it was Mohinder, when he was younger. Also maybe the reason why Claire's dad wanted Mohinder is because he will soon find out how to locate each superhuman like his dad was able to.

I missed when Mohinder and Claire's dad met in the cab, can you elaborate?

I'm going to make a bold statement and say that the cop (Matt) and the nuclear guy are both going to turn into villains. I think the marking on their neck is the symbol of Skyler, and since both have basically lost their wives, they will become enraged with anger, and help Skyler do something very VERY bad. Didn't Skyler have a chance to kill Matt when Matt chased him down and "shot" him, but instead chose to run?

hmm the boy looked more like a little girl to me...i always thought that she (the boy that appears) was the sister that passed away and she's still connected to Mohinder...remember the mom said that she was special...

off note the Nuclear guy looked like....

It's a boy. The girl's name was Shanti, not Sanjog Iyer which is clearly the boy's name.

I actually thought the nuclear guy WAS from that ad as the caveman in the geico commercial.

First ep is when they first met. Claire's father is in India going over Mohinder's stuff I think, and Mohinder returns to his apartment after hearing the news that his dad was killed in NY. Mohinder is convinced he was killed because of his research so he goes back to his apartment to prepare for a trip to NY. He realizes there's an intruder there when he's in his main living space (Claire's dad is in his bedroom), and Mohinder runs out.

Then in NY, Mohinder's driving a taxi and Claire's dad gets into the taxi and starts talking, hinting that he knew his father (in a menacing way), so Mohinder gets freaked and runs out of the cab with Claire's father looking on.

As for the cop and the radioactive guy, I really don't think they're going to be bad guys. At least, not the cop. Those markings on their necks aren't likely from Sylar (if they were, he'd have killed them to absorb their power), they're from being kidnapped by Claire's dad, and I think Claire's dad is trying to get them to use their powers more easily and possibly with better control over them although the cop and the radioactive guy seem to have been failures in that respect.

I got to watch the episode last night, man that was a good one! I had the same conclusion that shug_knight had with Hiro in the restaruant. It's just like in Back to the Future II and III when Marty and the Doc leave Jennifer in the alternate 1985, then go back to 1955 to fix the future. The future just changed around Jennifer and Einstein, just like it did in Heroes around Hiro's friend in the restaurant. Also, just like in Back to the Future, Jennifer, like Hiro's friend, was aware of the original situation even though the events of the day changed due to the new alterations made in the past. And to wrap it all up, just like the picture at the end of the episode with Hiro in it, at the end of Back to the Future III you get to see a picture from the past that once only had Doc in it, now had Doc and Marty in it.

As for Mohinder, I don't think the little boy was him either, I think he would have recognized himself. I'm surprised they didn't make the vision of the boy his sister since he never knew her and she apparently had powers.

The part with Claire's dad was real interesting. I believe he is a bit of a bad guy but he also wants to save Claire. He might possibly be using Claire to get to Sylar though. Before this episode I thought he had something to do with Sylar, now not so much. But Claire's dad in past episodes has showed that he is not a purely good person like Hiro or Claire.

I see that there are three teams going here. The good heroes like Hiro, Matt, Issac, and Peter who are set on saving the world. Claire's dad and his super-powered friend that seem to have some interest in knowing who the super-powered people are. And Sylar who wants to kill the super-powered people. Sylar is taking their brains right? Maybe he is on a quest to determine what gives people powers so he can create super-powered people of his own, his own little villain team. Where all the other heroes come into play is still a question.

Sylar has no such plot. He's trying to eat the brains of the superheroes so he can get their powers. That's all there is to it. He's just power-hungry.

How do we know he's eating the brains though? How do we know he's not taking the brains for someone (e.g. Mr. Bennett) to study them? How do we know that taking the brains isn't the only way to kill them? There is too much unsaid at this point. Hell, that was episode #7 of 22 that will just make up season 1. All we know is that Hiro will eventually have a sword and will have remarkably lost his accent and that Peter will eventually have a scar on his face (which Nathan already has). Everything else is kind of up in the air as far as I'm concerned.
