Peter didn't exactly fill Nathan in on the details of his "dream", and Nathan wants to brush all of that supernatural stuff off, so why would he even pursue that line of questioning?

And I believe he truly loves his brother and wife, I don't think he'd suspect them of anything malicious.

Right, but the whole thing we touched upon before.. with his frame of mind at the given time.. anything is possible.

My thing is, he just bought the dream thing and that's it. I can understand you don't want to bring it up... but the way the actor portrayed it made it seem as if he just bought it...

You see only because of the initial scene in which we see him does it fit. Hear me out here for a sec, previously when we all saw Bean in the IMDB it worked because think about all the crime scene investigations.

They were all brutal and gory, fitted well with us expecting to see Bean. He fit the sick psycopath that has been killing off all these "special" people.


In retrospect, yes I agree your concept of him fits the bill, but previous short sightings of Sylar, and the manner in which he commited these murders had Beans face written all over it.

I agree. But, the difference here is that Sylar isn't the guy the show wanted us to think he was.

I almost think of him as a duplicate of Peter. Two people feeling very low of themselves that finally realize they have something great to be proud of. One decides to go the good route with it, the other goes the wrong route.

I didn't say bad for a reason. I think Sylar truly believes he is doing good.

Tomorrow night starting at 5pm CST on the Sci-Fi channel, they are going to be showing the first 6 episodes. I have set my DVR to record them, so just an FYI for those that would like to catch this show.

Cool, and they are even showing the pilot again I've got some friends that missed the first couple episodes but I got them hooked on the others. I'll be sure to give them a heads up. Thanks!

Yeah i'm probably going to watch the season over again and see if I can catch stuff I haven't noticed yet. One of the things i'm going to look for is how many times we see that half helix sign show up on the show and try to figure out if its tied to anything.

I was under the impression he gave her a different book.

And if she has such a great memory, wouldn't she have remembered that Hiro gave her a book when she saw him?

because Hiro didnt go back in time to give it to her for all we know she couldve gotten the book from somewhere else...gah its a time paradox thing which i dont have the energy to type out...maybe someone can chime in

Because the day at the restaurant never happened with Hiro there. When Hiro's friend went to talk to the waitress about Hiro in the picture, the waitress said he's been gone for weeks.

She still died that day, but Hiro was never there in the current situation due to him warping back.

If it's in the same universe/world that he initially time traveled from, then that's a paradox, because his presence at the restaurant when the girl was murdered was essential to his time travel to the past. If he wasn't there, he wouldn't have had the motivation to go back in the past and rescue her.

That helix sign looks as if its an evolved strain of DNA, perhaps what the heroes actual double helixes would look like.

yes very good...so in a way his power pretty much sent him back to japan without him ever controlling it...he did say "my power is bigger than i am" or something to that affect

she did have the tickets to go to Japan when Hiro "jumped forward" but she decided to stay which baffles me a bit since she said that she loved Hiro....uhm if she loved Hiro wouldnt you try and find him?
