I think you have to put that scene in perspective. When Peter tells Natehan about the dream, Nathan is in the hospital after an accident where his wife was seriously injured and where he just flew for the first time. I find it very believable that someone in that state of mind would just disregard that detail at the moment.

I would definitely buy this ONLY if Nathan's reaction was one of... say... confusion... but he immediately grabbed Peter, as if he suspected something... then just... let it go... like... oh right.. dreams. No big deal.

It just didn't sit right with me... probably my only qualm with the episode... and I can't let it go.

Still a great one nonetheless...

He also mentions that "You were not in the car," so I think the brother kinda realises there's something more there.

Ando - Not really a "hero"... more of a sidekick. Doubt it's him.
Claire - She was "saved" which apparently saves the world. Can't have her die... or unless, everyone saved the wrong cheerleader that is.
Mohinder - Probably not. Main narrator and like Ando, not really a "hero."
Issac - Strong possibility IMO. Heroin addict, could possibly overdose. His visions don't seem to go past the impending nuclear explosion as of now. Could his mission be done?
Micah - I'd love to see the kid eat one. But I doubt a major network will be into killing little kids. One possibility is Niki/Jessica aims for and shoots at DL, but the bullet passes through DL with his powers and hits Micah?
Matt - Another one that could eat it. I highly doubt it as he seems to be a critical cog in the LA hunt for Sylar.
Hiro - Better not be. In the lines of save the cheerleader... Kill Hiro, Kill the Show. Plus, remember, he comes back from the future as a bad-*** ninja, so he'll probably survive.
Nathan - Well, based on an earlier episode, we know he survives long enough to win the election. Plus, I'm sure there are more Peter/Nathan storyline to develop.
Peter - No way. He still needs a scar that Hiro mentions. Plus, future Hiro comes back and says to him "Be the One We Need"... that's some cool sh!t.
Mr. Bennett - Claire's dad. Not a hero. We finally saw some of his background last night and I'm much more intrigued with his character now.
Niki/Jessica - Her character annoys me. Doesn't really have a power. But I'd hate to see her leave the show... good eye candy. Plus, there's really nothing to suggest she's the one to go.
Haitian Man - Again, we know almost nothing about him. I'm sure the writers have more in store for this character.
Eden - Possibly. We see a little of her backstory in the nbc.com comics, but we don't really know much about her. On the other hand, she and the Haitian has Sylar, and who knows what Sylar might do to one of them.
DL - Seems to be the most likely suspect to bite the dust. Niki has a gun pointed right at him and pulls the trigger.

Miss anyone? Any other ideas? God I love this show.

Maybe Nathan knows more about himself and Peter than the audience knows. He probably was already contacted by Suresh and knows a lot about himself and Peter or possibly knows something special about his dad. If I remember correctly, Nathan even has that half helix tattoo on his back and that is still is a big mystery to everyone. So him saying, oh it's a dream was a easy scape goat from actually explaing what truly is happening to him and Peter.

And probably a reason why Nathan always disregards Peters discoveries, he wants to deny everything that he knows more so to protect Peter than to protect his political image. We now discover that Nathans descion making has caused the death of his father and the accident of his wife. And maybe him running for office has to deal with some agreement with Linderman.

I like Bean but if the role was originally Sylar as a nerdy watchmaker, I'm happy they went with the new guy. Bean is too rugged for the role.

doubtful... when Hiro went to the future, he went to Isaac's apartment and Isaac was only recently dead (Sylar cut his brain open).

I think this makes the most sense.

Nathan seems to want to ignore his power. I'm guessing that Nathan has known he could fly for a very long time. Maybe even since he was a child. He's probably also known that his brother has been capable of superior ability, but has been unable to explain it probably because it doesn't only consist of flight (as we all know).

By ignoring the whole dream thing, I'm thinking we're going back to a past experience for Nathan and Peter. If Nathan wants his family to be normal and forget they are "special" then he'd ignore Peter's dream because he doesn't want to encourage his behavior.

It might also explain why he was so forgiving of everything afterward and acted as if nothing happened when he visited Peter to tell him that their dad died. Nathan knows a lot more than he's letting onto.

You see only because of the initial scene in which we see him does it fit. Hear me out here for a sec, previously when we all saw Bean in the IMDB it worked because think about all the crime scene investigations.

They were all brutal and gory, fitted well with us expecting to see Bean. He fit the sick psycopath that has been killing off all these "special" people.


In retrospect, yes I agree your concept of him fits the bill, but previous short sightings of Sylar, and the manner in which he commited these murders had Beans face written all over it.

Just my opinion.

He didn't tell Suresh that his name was Sylar... he told Brian Davis that his name was Sylar. Suresh called him Gabriel.

Peter didn't exactly fill Nathan in on the details of his "dream", and Nathan wants to brush all of that supernatural stuff off, so why would he even pursue that line of questioning?

And I believe he truly loves his brother and wife, I don't think he'd suspect them of anything malicious.

As for Nathan knowing about his power before the accident, I don't think he did, because he was really surprised at what was happening to him when it did occur. At the very least, if he flew, he never had control of it, because it seems that he had no control over his flight during the accident.

Yea same here, the directors for Heroes definately threw us viewers a curveball with the IMDB info. I was telling my wife "there is no way that can be Sylar, I saw which actor it is going to be on IMDB" LOL.

They probably could not get signed who they had listed originally. I would have preffered the guy they had us thinking it would be. He is much more menacing looking.

IMDB has done that before for movies at producers requests.

I watch it every week as well, but I can't say that I'm lost at times. I was confused earlier on, but now it's starting to all come together.
