Isn't Cheadle kinda slim for Rhodes?
I'm still wondering why he gets no love in Hollywood with big action roles. I hope that they're coming out with another Spawn movie with updated everything to keep me interested. I'm a fan.

On another note for those who were wondering, another story popped up on YAHOO!

Michael Jai White was in The Dark Knight and was horrible.

To be fair, it's true. He doesn't have to be black.

His acting is alright but that guy has some skills with his feet.

On a side note, please cut out all that Captain America stuff.

I just watched this for the first time on Blu Ray.
I loved it and so did my wife.

And to be honest, I thought Iron Man was a much better movie than The Dark Knight. It's definitely a top-5 superhero film.

I'll have to pick this up eventually. A good movie, but I felt the climax and ending was just "meh."

More information on why Howard was replaced by Cheadle.

Howard was the first actor signed to the film and, on top of that, was the highest-paid. That's right: more than Gwyneth Paltrow. More than Jeff Bridges. More than Robert Downey Jr. And once the project fully came together, it was too late to renegotiate his deal.

The agents, according to sources, were so taken aback by this new figure - estimated at somewhere between a 50 and 80 percent pay cut - that they questioned it. Why did they blanch? Multiple sources say that Marvel execs never told Howard's reps that they had issues with the star's on-set conduct.

It wasn't that. That I don't really have a problem with. I think the way they set-up it, it could have worked both ways for a number of reasons supporting each. I just felt like the confrontation with Stone was mediocre.

Very. I feel the same with The Incredible Hulk. I just don't really know how they can make it better than it is, though. It's just two nearly invincible guys beating the crap out of each other for a while.

To me, Iron Man didn't feel like a 'comic' book movie where it needed a dramatic battle at the end.
I loved that movie for the characters and story. Robert D. Jr was absolutely brilliant as Tony Stark. I don't think anyone else on this planet could have done a better job. And the dialogue given to him was spectacular too.

With the Hulk, the entire movie was about nothing more than action. No character development. Not much of a story. In the end, while I enjoyed the film, I didn't think it was nearly as good as any of the recent super hero movies.

I wonder if The Hulk would have been better if they retold the story from scratch rather than make it a 'fugitive' type story.
And Tim Roth as a 'badass' was laughable. I think I could fit him in my pocket. And he was scrawny. I think it would have worked much better with a crazier, bigger army nut-job. Get Zues from "Friday". Somebody who looks intimidating so you would actually be more scared of the Abomination.

Anyway, I cannot wait for Iron Man 2. I thought the first film was basically perfect. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I agree about Tim Roth. He was much too small to play that role but it didn't really hurt the overall movie. I loved the Hulk and liked it as much as Iron Man. I just wish Iron Man had a little more action and a better fight scene at the end. The rest was stellar.

Ya, but that's the comic book genre at it's most basic form. No matter who you are, how do you overcome the most insurmountable of odds? Well, that, and some namby-pamby villians thrown in every once and a while.

I just felt that after the prior confrontations between Stone and Stark (I mean, Stone did pretty much rip Stark's heart out from him), I felt like the mech battle was pretty mediocre, not very compelling, and I never felt an emotional attachment from Stark during that scene.
