    Other thoughts:

I hope Starbuck is playing that toaster, and that poptart seemed kinka big for her age.

The chief's wife (Kalle I think) is going to run into original Sharon and the insurgents. Tension insues.

Adm. Adama: "Now get your fat *** out of here!"

That line, or something similar to that, made me crack up! Anyway, great start to the season. It'll be interesting to see how Starbuck gets out of the psych ward she's in right now. Hated seeing Caprica 6 take one through the forehead, but she'll be back. The last clip they showed in the "what's to come" preview of the season that was shown after the episode about President Balthar saying, "You mean I'm a cylon?" made me realize that I never really thought about that. Still, that clip might not be important at all (you know how they spin previews). Glad the show is back and looking forward to next week!

BTW, I'm going to need to sign up for the HD Pak that InsightMedia provides because UniversalHD is a part of it.

I'm very disappointed in you guys. I find the lack of Battlestar talk quite disturbing.

Episode 2 was great and REALLY sets up what should be an action packed Episode 3.

Lucy Lawless looked especially yummy last night as well.

If Caprica 6 and Boomer drew enough support for some of the other cylons to admit a mistake. Why aren't they given more control?

Looks like Apollo will return at the last second to assist in the rescue. He should be following orders though, and losing some weight.

Let's all hope that Starbuck didn't fall for the pop-tart.

I wonder how long before Sharon sees here kid and shoots Adama (again)

Yeah, you're right. We'll start up some early before next week's episode. I thought last night's was great. Lucy Lawless did look good too. Maybe Ellen is out of the picture as well. I've always been suspicious of her character. Now they have proof. I sure hope Starbuck doesn't get sucked in with that kid and toaster. And it looks like the beginning of Sharon having her loyalty to the humans shaken. I'm interested in seeing where this storyline ultimately goes: how long will they all be on New Caprica? how many will survive the rescue attempt next week? when does Apollo get rid of his gut? That kind of thing.

I think New Caprica will be bye bye after next week. Great episode though. This show delivers every week.

Can't wait for tonight's episode! I'm very interested in what's going to happen but more interested in seeing where the story goes after the episode. I've never been the type to read ahead in a book so I love the anticipation!

I usually don't like to compare episodes or seasons (of any shows) as I like to take it all in as a collective story.

Last night's episode was excellent though.

                        I agree. Excellent episode.

                        (Spoiler)

By the way, I was yelling "Stab him!" at the tv several times when Starbuck was with that toaster. Glad that happened. And, part of me was a little suprised that Casey wasn't her daughter. The cylons fooled me too! Anyone else think this isn't the last we've seen of Ellen? Always had a bad feeling about her and maybe we'll see a new "download" in the future.

                        (/Spoiler)

Looks like next week a group of people will be punishing those that became the "police" on New Caprica. Looking forward to where the story goes from here!

That episode was intense. It felt more like a season finale since so much stuff happened. I'm amazed they could fit all of that in 42 minutes.

Great start to the third season. Way better than how season two got started. My only critisizm, is one I always have. When they do have battle scenes in space, etc. they are always MUCH too short.

I don't like how all of a sudden everyone was safely evacuated to Galactica.

Ironically the original BG had the same problem. Not enough combat shown.

I thought it was hella cool how Adama jumped into the atmosphere to launch fighter support for the resistance fighters then jumped out. Ballsy.

Back down to 1 Battlestar again.

The battle scenes are just too costly to make them any longer, they have to save some $$$$ for the 3 or 4 other important space battles that will probably happen this season.

I know some people would prefer the combat scenes to be the main course of the show, but its really the dessert.

By the way, for what I want in a show, last nights episode is as good TV gets, in Sci Fi or any genre.
