Re: Saw III
Possibly, it's not listed as an exact alternate ending, but it could be in the deleted scenes.

Re: Saw III
Oooh, then maybe it's not. I'm not sure... but I do know that they had an alternate ending that they filmed. I've talked to Darren myself (err, via MySpace).
Anyway, it may be in the Special Edition that's being released this October.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Saw III
That is why they double dip, triple dip, quadruple dip sometimes. ARGH!Comment

Re: Saw III
Honestly, it's not good enough a movie to double dip. Pretty insulting if you ask me, if the director is talking about it on his myspace page (although, that just means it's some flunkie typing for the director, but whatever).
This is what's really annoying me about Saw and their creators. They are starting to feel bigger than the horror genre, and treating the fans like idiots. This will be the 4th straight year of a Saw movie in the theaters, it will also be the 3rd straight year they've released a Saw movie on DVD twice.. ANNOYINGComment

He doesn't talk about Saw at all. Heh, that's a blog... different story. I mean that his profile isn't centered around his directing, but more so himself.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Saw III
Saw 3 tops Saw 2 as the best Saw in the trilogy so far. The last 15 minutes was jaw dropping. The flashbacks added to the depth of the story. Peter Kingsley is a bad ***! I still like the Needle Pit as the best trap though.
Final Grade: B+
I haven't had time to check out all the special features on the DVD yet, but I did watch the making of the traps. For the School Trap, the initial idea was suppose to have Troy chained up to the roof. The props team did some amazing work. The ice body casts were really good. I found it interesting the actress said that safety regulations prevented them from putting the ice body cast in the front and the back of the body at the same time.Comment

And I have to agree... this movie had a terrible pacing IMO, but that aside this movie built so much authority to top Saw II in my mind. It's crazy how I imagined the opening scene being something, and it ended up being just that something (I don't want to spoil it for those that haven't seen it)!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
