Please...................No SAW V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, etc. Please end it with SAW IV: Jeff's Story and then that's it. LOL!
    That wouldn't make sense.

    SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Jeff is dead. When you get the DVD, you'll notice all the clues that killing John meant the end of Jeff and his daughter. The simple fact that he said "You'll have to play a game", well... don't think of it in the future tense. Think of it as in if he wanted her back, he would have had to play another game. He would have been given that game if he chose to forgive Jigsaw. Though, he didn't really. That was his final test, remember? Why would he have another final test?

Also, remember that Jigsaw says "Your fate is in my hands." Remember when he says, "Think about your daughter... she needs you now more than ever. You can't kill me, Jeff." I mean, all of these clues state that if Jeff just forgave him, he would have had a chance to save himself and his daughter. But he didn't, and now he can't. I don't want it to continue with Jeff, since his game just ended. Eric was different... I can't exactly put my finger on how he was different, but he just was.

    END SPOILERS!!!

My suggestion is that if they decide to break the trilogy to make a Saw IV, they might as well keep going. They should make a separate trilogy within the franchise with a Saw IV - Saw VI. In all, it's a different story... a different Jigsaw, etc. Most of the original Saw fans may not like it, but at least it's for other people to enjoy maybe.

I wish that they detached Saw IV from Saw III in the way that they waited at least one more year to make it. But no... they're too money-hungry.

Thanks for clearing that up, I guess we just need to wait until tidbits about the story come out.

I'm sorry, but that's thinking way too hard, there were way too many other unanswered questions for me to buy that.

That's not thinking too hard, that's understanding what was said in the movie. John tells Jeff everything, and it all makes sense. The only word that may make people think different is "you'll"... otherwise, it should be clear as day.

You should see one of my possible theories on what's in Amanda's envelope near the end of the movie. Now THAT would be an example of thinking too hard.

I hope that the Unrated DVD explains and fills the gaps in the movie especially in the beginning of SAW III which looks like the movie was cut up.

              Special Edition or Unrated?

The Unrated doesn't do much else... only what I told you. I'm sure the Special Edition fills it up a little more, though.

Finally saw this movie on BR and am... dissapointed.

Just pointless gore. Plot was all over the place. Just a terrible movie IMO... especially compared to the earlier Saw movies.

Under no circumstance I will go see the fourth unless it gets crazy reviews for thrills and suspense instead of pointless gore.

                SPOILER:

I had no problem with it but could have done without the brain surgery. Just a waste of time there.

Plot wise, you can tell that parts of the movie in the beginning were cut out.
