Wasn't that back when you got points depending on how big of a play went for a TD? For example, a 90 yard TD run was the 6 for the TD + a bunch for the run, in addition to the stats accumulating.

I had a bad FF experience with some former friends. Apparently me watching football and picking up people on Sunday wasn't cool.

That's still the way my league does it.

      +2 for a 40-60 yarder
      +4 for a 60-80 yarder
      +6 for a 80-99 yarder

I'm going to have to agree. After playing religiously for the past 4-5 years and this year I'm not playing at all... I agree with this statement.

          Same here.

I went nuts for it the first year I played it. Checking my league homepage every 5 seconds.

          Now I could care less.

Yep, I wish I still had that little Miller Lite football preview. Had Montana on the cover.

Scoring was like 6 points from 0-9 yards, 9 points for 11-39, and 12 for 40+

You also got double if a RB caught/threw a TD, or a QB ran/caught one, or a WR/TE ran/threw one.

            Defense were double points.

No yardage at all. It was simple and fun. And I still remember some of the top picks...

Montana, Rice, Barry Sanders, Boomer, and who could forget the great Jim Everett!
