I was wondering what he was saying. No doubt that the contestants read about themselves, i'm sure they were on there in seasons past being part of the boards.

I wonder how much trouble he'll get into over this since that website is a rival of the show.

Its easy. people latch on to their favorites from the very begining and follow them good or bad similar to a sports team.

Well I hear you. I liked him during the audition phase but after I saw that he just couldn't cut it later on, I said screw it, no reason to support him. I guess I watch the show with the hopes that the best singer will advance, I am not one for supporting lesser talented people in a competition like this. Well, I guess if it were a really cute girl I'd be willing to support her, like I did the Hawaiian girl a couple years back, but she was a better singer than Sanjaya and at least she had a redeeming quality in my eyes - she was cute. And even then, there were people worse than her so no biggie I guess.

Is this not a SINGING competition? That's what Simon keeps reminding folks about just about every week.
If this isn't the case,then they shouldn't stress the singing.
I guess I look at it differently then some folks.
Being a musician,I look at the vocal aspects first (which I thought this show was about).

Singing is a big part but just one part of it. Simon does say it's a singing competition but he also comments on charisma, stage presence, the singer's looks, how they work the crowd, their overall appeal to various markets, and etc etc.

It's American Idol which means it is the complete package. Just being a great singer is no guarantee you will win, just as being a middling singer is no guarantee you will get voted off sooner than someone else who is better than you.

Personally I think Sanjaya should have been gone in the third round (the round just before the top 12) if not the round before that one.

But Stephanie has been on the decline the past couple weeks and really didn't do great last night.

Is Stephanie a better singer than Sanjaya? Yes..........

But besides being a solid (not even great) singer, she really didn't do much for me, plus she's been on the decline whereas Sanjaya has at least had a mild improvement this time (though you could say what he was improving from was nothing special, I see that point too)

As long as, say, Melinda doesn't get voted off before him, then I'm good.

I don't think Sanj is going to keep improving from week to week to week like last night. He'll put up a true turd performance again, and will be safe at the expense of an elite singer. That is when I'll be a little upset.

So just for reference purposes, let's not get me confused with MagicBucs.... Malakar isn't even getting a "test" vote from me......... he'll be top 6 without me, most likely...........

Chris Richardson had the second best male performance of the night. Blake being the top one. The bottom 3 should of been Phil, Sanjaya and Stephanie.
