However considering you for one don't know if they were just involved in a battle or something straining there stress (likely, considering the situation) even though that isn't an excuse. Bottom line it's an extremely small amount and is without a doubt much lower than many countries. (which I can find facts for, if people wish)Comment

Squint: I respect your opinion of mine. I do appreciate the men and women overseas, but I will not watch this video and say "oh, well this is an exception, it doesn't happen frequently".
P2xgamers: I am IN NO WAY "against the army" nor do I have any sort of figure but I cannot justify these actions on any level. And no I don't think these American soldiers should be executed nor do I wish them any harm.Comment

Yeah, the piece of s#it comment is a bit over the top. Unless the poster believes that ALL people who do some immature things at times are pieces of s#it, but I believe it's more directed at this young man being a soldier.
Thankfully we have a bunch of volunteers who will put on a uniform, serve their country, sacrifice being away from their families, (and video games) to serve, regardless of what you think of the war, or not. I'm just getting sick and tired of the stereotypes and the only news is bad news about our gals and guys in uniform.
However, I might be a little prejudice here as I've been there, done that, even the immature stuff. Hopefully we all learn from our indescretions and can get away from casting the first stone, especially when we've all acted like "pieces of s#it" in our lifetimes.Comment

The point of p2x's obviously estimated statistic was to point out that the vast majority of the soldiers serving our country don't act like the one in the video.

If you want to lie to yourself and think this happens a lot, then I guess whatever. (trust me if I could prove it, I would provide it...but they don't keep track on public record, as far as I can tell about even the little stuff like that...I could only base it on convictions of soldiers for murder/rape is well under 1%)but I will not watch this video and say "oh, well this is an exception, it doesn't happen frequently".
And sorry for presuming that but considering your tone and horrible attitude that this happens a lot and a lot of soldiers do this kind of stuff all the time, etc.Comment

Whether we have a million soldiers or four out there taunting little kids with bottles of water, it's still an embarrassment to me as an American. Yes, I certainly applaud those who are willing to put their lives on the line in order to serve our country, but something like this, no matter how frequent it occurs, is just shameful. If you are going to tease some poor ten year old with a bottle of water while you are on the back of a moving vehicle, you have no right to be representing our country in any way, shape or form. That video was just sickening. There are people who have given their all on foreign soil, and the fact we have others who are finding amusement in something as juvenile and immature as this is downright disheartening.Comment
