Microsoft Customer Support

2 months ago my x-box crashed and the first time I called customer support I felt like I called India and was so pissed off because I could not understand what the @#$! the person was saying to me I hung up.
After seeing this I'm glad I'm not alone........this is a microsoft customer support agent calling a customer back...what you hear is the message they left the customer.

Yeah it's classic and some funny ish but sad because thats what I had to go through to get my x-box fixed.

Try working in IT. Not only do 90% of support calls that I make to MS, Dell, HP etc.... sound very similar to that, but a good portion of the people I directly work with sound like that.

The worst part is I actually understood what that support person was saying. My bosses boss talks EXACTLY like that.

Try working in IT. Not only do 90% of support calls that I make to MS, Dell, HP etc.... sound very similar to that, but a good portion of the people I directly work with sound like that.

Sadly I did understand the majority of it.

My bosses boss, talks exactly like that. When I first started this job, I had no idea what he was saying. Every time he'd talk to me I'd have to ask him to repeat because I didn't understand him. After 1.5 years of talking to him, I now can decipher what he's saying.

Yeah it's classic that a guy is trying to do his job in a language that isn't his native tongue. You try speaking Hindi, see how they laugh at you in India.

Yes, outsourcing is an unwelcome trend in industries today, but the blame doesn't lie with the people who are getting the work. It lies with the ones GIVING them the work, and that's the companies who choose cheap labour over quality support.

just tell them you want someone who speaks english or in the USA, if I have a problem I do that cause the people in India can't make any decisions anyways.
