I'd rather listen and see their 70's stuff.

Back in the Saddle, Sweet Emotion, Dream On, Rats in the Celler, Toys in the Attic, Rattlesnake Blues and Train Kept Rollin All Night Long.

Too bad Prince doesn't perform Darling Nikki anymore. The networks would have to censor that puppy.

I know i'm getting old when I like this choice. I remember plenty of years of watching the superbowl where i would look at the half time entertainment and think "who the hell is that old timer on the stage." I'll be watching

THANK YOU, hell Im 22 and I am into this. Plus 48 isn't that old, I say anything under 55 is middle age considering how healthy people are these days. Prince is without question the most underrated/underappreciated artist of our time. He's not even one or two dimensional as a musical artist. If they were looking for someone that is a crossover artist that's been around for the past 25plus years (and had hits recently), Prince and Madonna are the only ones that haven't done a super bowl yet. But that's just off the top of my head there could be others.

Prince?? I like some of his stuff, but who really wants to see him. Kind of ironic Timberlake is having a big year in music, yet you know he wont be perfomring football games for awhile.

People don't sleep on Prince. No, seriously, don't. He might like it too much.

Ok, seriously, it's a good choice by the NFL. Now, if you want to see girls in revealing blouses you won't have to watch the Lingerie Bowl.

Ok, ok, I'm being mean and corny. Really, in all honesty, Prince is awesome.

                    LOL @ you Prince fans..

Eh, Aerosmith definetly isn't my favorite, but I'd rather him over Prince..I'd rather almost ANYONE over prince..
I'd rather have a more hard rock band kinda do the super bowl. I mean it's football, we don't need someone who dresses like a woman and is smaller than a Kicker singing and dancing like a woman.

(Granted, he is a good guitar player, but I mean, it's freakin' Prince!)

To be fair, Prince sounds more manlier than some football players when he speaks.

Of course, he then defies everything we know to be true in this world by sounding more feminine than every player's wife in the NFL when he sings.

                      That Prince.

Well said. I'm pumped for halftime now. Prince is a f*cking musical genius.

Timberlake can't carry Prince's microphone stand or guitar case. He's a f*cking impostor compared to Prince.

Prince is a legend; Timberlake is a legend in his own mind.

Plus Prince can rock, something of which Timberlake has no clue.

Michael Jackson, Elton John, Rolling Stones, are legends. Im not too sure if Prince is a legend. I really like the stones and Mcartney, but their performances sucked. How bout the NFL stops getting "legends" and starts getting more entertaining performers.
