I actually have those 4 albums already but I'm still looking forward to the official release, all of them are great.

    But I'm still waiting for:
    Modest Mouse
    Wilco
    Radiohead
    Animal Collective
    Doves
    Electrelane
    Interpol
    Iron & Wine
    Pinback
    The Magnetic Fields
    The National
    Okkervil River
    Spoon
    Wolf Parade
    The Wrens?

2006 was a bit of a down year, but 2007 is going to be AMAZING.
Wow, we have similar tastes. Glad to hear someone out there likes Okkervil River!

"The President's Dead" off Overboard & Down is jaw dropping. I can't wait to hear the new record.

I'd kill for some new MF Doom material to come out already.

I'm also looking forward to the Metallica and Opeth albums coming out later this year too.

Very nice considering that Timbaland and Nelly Furtado is a match made in Heaven.

My favorite artist, Sarah McLachlan has an new album in the works however I'm not too sure it's going to be released in 2007 or not.

For those who were looking forward to Avril's "The Best Damn Thing" may want to rethink that.

If the song "Girlfriend" is indictative of what the rest of the album could be, it'll be a HUGE letdown. That song is something I'd expect from 16 year old Avril, not 22 year old Avril.

Anybody who hasn't heard of Andrew Bird, check him out. He has a new album coming out on March 20th and I've heard a lot of great things about it.

I can't believe no one's mentioned the new Bloc Party album, that's in my top 5 most anticipated. Other than that, waiting on the Arcade Fire album, and definitely anything new from Sufjan and Interpol.

By the way, those of you with similar tastes (Arcade Fire, Shins, Interpol, etc.), I would recommend checking out the new album from "Of Montreal," very solid effort.

Bloc Party came out this week.

The new Of Montreal is pretty good, but I don't think it touches the level of stuff the other artists you mentioned have done. Pretty good album though, fun pop type stuff.

It's pretty good, I've already listened to about 10 times. It took me a few listens to get into but I like it a little better than "...production of eggs.

I decided to check out the Of Montreal album. It is by far the best thing I've heard this year. 'The Past is a Grotesque Animal' is just an amazing track. Highly recommended.

That is my favorite track on the album, a lot of really catchy stuff on there as well.
