Yes and for me personally...what i'll take most from it is the tragedy of Lucius Voreno.

It was a great episode, very emotional toward the end, though i still have to admit I hate to see it go. It was just so rushed, I would have liked to see different relationships get fleshed out a bit. Still, all in all an excellent series.

The best part of last nights episode was the confrontation between Atia and Caesar Octavian's wife. Priceless. Too bad this great show is over.

Final episode was great. Its sad to see the show go, but things happen. I was very pleased with the way things ended, especially with Vorenus.

were those the bodies of antony and cleopatra they paraded at the end, or just models? I thought they weren't the bodies, since they'd be all rotted, but it makes sense with atia's response.

I'm going to have to re-watch this episode. My DVR crapped out in the middle of it so I missed the entire Triumph. Overall, it was a good episode. I'm sad to see this show go and agree with others that it felt rushed.

I really feel like they could have done an entire season on the Octavian/Antony vs Brutus/Cassius storyline and then a 3rd season on the Octavian vs Antony conflict.

Exactly! I also would have liked to have seen more of Attia and Octavian's wife. We were just teased with it.

I forgot to add that I like how Pullo has finally gotten a chance to be with his son, but that was so cheesy that part at the end.

well they tried to make it feel good at the last second before it ended.

Hopefully, when this is released to DVD, they'll include missing footage. Enjoyed the whole series immensely. Wished someone had picked it up.

Some thoughts on my favorite moments:

                            Best dialogue scene:
Pullo and Vorenus when walking together to rescue the kids. Pullo explaining that what he said was because he was angry. And adding about Vorenus' brother in law.......Before I finished him off I gave him a right cross just before he squealed like a stout pig. Vorenus replies "Good, thank you."

                            Best Actress:
                            Nybi. Her looks were intoxicating.

                            Best Scene:
                            Pullo riping out Memio's tongue.

                            Best ending:
As the theme song comes on the group is seen leaving the slave camp, Pullo pulling the knife out of the slave camp boss, and the slave woman checking to see if he was alive.

                            Best Surprise added to story:
Ceasarian was the son of Pullo

                            Best Characters:
Vorenus and Pullo. How else could this be different? These two worked excellent together.

the 1st season is like $85 at best buy..I want these, but will wait for the price to come down. Should be a discount for people that pay for the 10 different HBO's.
