"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

          Excellent book.

That was actually the first book I ever read, cover to cover. Took me 19 years to accomplish that goal.

Just finished "The Franchise" by Brian Windhorst and Terry Pluto. It details how the Cavs ended up with LeBron and how they ended up reaching the Finals. A good read for Cavs' fans, especially the part about how and why they traded for Shawn Kemp and then got rid of him.

The Walmart Effect - A must read.
              Wealth of Nations

Adam Smith never imagined Walmart I guarantee you that. Its awesome to look at revoltionary economic ideas from a few hundred years ago and see what the free market economy has created. Makes me wonder what global economics will be like 200 years from now.

I am currently reading "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card. I've been meaning to read this novel for years and I finally picked it up.

I just finished them, but the "Thursday Next" series by Jasper Fforde is great...kinda different, but fun to read. The first book is "The Eyre Affair". Eventually the main character can "jump" into books, interact with fictional characters, etc. Sounds odd, but it works out well.

I LOVE that book. Read it for the first time when I was a kid, and I've probably read it 20 times since.

I had to read that in high school. That was probably the one book in high school english I actually enjoyed reading.

I finally picked up No Country For Old Men. I've wanted to read this for a while now and am upset with myself that I saw the movie first but I enjoyed it so much that I bought the book.
