I love this idea. Totally over the top horror is entertainment at its finest. Reminds me of "Slither" but I think these will be better, and far more over the top, considering the work of the directors.

Apparently the idea behind it is old horror flicks in drive-ins.

Rodriguez talked about how you could see two horror flicks back-to-back when drive-ins were around and he thought it was great when he was a kid.

So, he and Tarantino wanted to bring back that feeling for today's generation.

Yeah, and from what I hear the movies will be tied together by some fake trailers in between.

I love this idea. Totally over the top horror is entertainment at its finest. Reminds me of "Slither" but I think these will be better, and far more over the top, considering the work of the directors.

I loved "Slither", Nathan Phillion is this generation's Bruce Campbell.

Well, I know there is a Drive In still open in the Detroit Area.

This looks pretty cool. Definitely something that could get me in a theater.

this looks f'n awesome...

I also read it's headed to NC-17 rating, unless they cut it up. I don't see how you can go with this whole theme, and then cut it to get it in a few more theaters. You'd think they'd make their money back with the DVD of this.

I think they want the NC17 rating. I read an interview with Tarantino that said that awhile ago.

yeah, like I put in my edit, it makes sense with the whole theme they have going. it would be a shame to cut it up.

Then again, the NC-17 hype gets it talked about, even if they do cut it to R eventually.
