Download speed is great, upload speed is average. Overall a great connection IMO. Better than anything I've had in my own house.

Thanks for the input. I thought it was decent, didn't know it was pretty good

Just switched to Time Warner. I think it's pretty good on a 2003 computer.

Might not be 100% accurate as i'm currently downloading something.

That's a LOT better than my previous as i'm now on wireless broadband

Sure wish Time Warner was that quick here. That's about 7 times quicker on the download speeds than what I get.

If only it could stay up for more than ten minutes at a time I'd be set..

                          Re: speedtest.net

How does speedtest.net decide on the server that it uses? Or better yet how do you know which one your internet uses?

When I hit let the site pick the server it goes to Seacaucus, New Jersey and I have a download speed of 8 MB/s. I live in Western MA and when I choose the Granby, MA the download speed is 32.

Is my DL speed 8 or 32 in general?

I have ESPN3 running, so that may slow it down some.
