Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris

The follow-up album to Lullabies to Paralyze is supposed to be released in June.

That was posted on the official site on Feb. 23rd. Supposedly, Trent Reznor, Mark Lanegan, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), and Julian Casablancas (The Strokes) are suppose to be contributing vocals on the album.

Personally, I can't wait - I love all their albums.

Love them too. The last one didn't keep my interest for whatever reason, but I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

One of my all-time favourite groups, gotta love stoner rock!
Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.

One of the best straight up rock bands out there right now, probably the best that gets radio play. Really looking forward to the album, I don't think they are a band that needs a lot of guest vocalists, Homme can hold his own for a full album, he's proved that, but I trust they will make the guest spots work well. I'm very interested in hearing Casablancas on a Queens of the Stone Age song.

Same here. I thought the first half of the album was superb, but the last half kind of went flat as things ran together.

Queens of the Stone Age have always been a revolving door band with tons of guys who have been a part of the band. Before Lullabies, they had three vocalists, so I don't think the guest vocals are going to do anything different other than make the songs more diverse. I really wish Grohl would come back and do some drums though.

Forgot about this band completely. I had a sampler of them once and thought it was interesting. Did anyone listen to Josh when he was in Kyuss? probably one of the best HEAVY bands in years. They had that "2 ton guitar" sound.

I had it on the computer for awhile, but never got around to listening to it (Blues for the Red Sun). I might still have it unless I deleted it.
