At school, I eat all dining commons food... which is a small step above fast food... lol. I usually just eat a sandwich and some fruit and veggies... but i often splurge if they have somethign I like. Lately, though, I've been going to the Subway-like place at my dining commons... $1.65 for a Sub... it's sweet.

I'm surprised it's a big chain! I saw one for the first time when we got to Springfield, but now we go at least once a month. The triple combo is where it's at! Smokey Bones only has 2 restaurants around Pittsburgh. Fortunately 1 is so close to my house. Both are about 1 year old so it's just starting to move into this area.
One other thing I love about the place is that it's pretty fast to get seated. I live in a fast growing, popular suburban area. Most restaurants like Olive Garden, Bravo and Red Robin have a minimum 1.5 hour wait at 5pm on the weekend. 6pm and it's over 2 hours. 4pm is ideal, but it's too early to eat for me. Smokey Bones is always packed, but the wait is relatively short - typically 35 minutes.Last edited by mjb2124; 04-26-2007, 01:04 PM.Comment

I have one near me in the Reading area and also one in the Wilkes-Barre area. I LOVE the place! You need to go when there is unlimited ribs for 16.99! WOW! Nice to sit at the bar, watch a game, have a few beers, and eat enough ribs for the month!!Comment

Yep, I have one 2 miles down the road from me, on what we call restaurant row. Smokey Bones, Friday's, Red Lobster, Bravo, Chipolte, Arby's, Olive Garden, Max and Erma's, and Baker's Square are all in a 1/2 mile radius. Then we have a mall food court and a Longhorn, Ruby Tuesday's, Damon's and a Outback down the road.Comment
