Re: iPhone on June 29.
If I had that amount of money to waste on a phone I would just use it on a ps3 or something.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: iPhone on June 29.
Probably could have gotten alot more people to buy it had they gotten a deal done with Verizon.
It's a cool looking phone, but for 600 dollars,I'll pass. I don't see why people need a cell phone for anything other than talking anyway.Comment

It's funny that people are excited about a $600 phone but complain about the ps3 being too expensive.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: iPhone on June 29.
verizon passed on carrying this. apple wants so much control over it and at&t pretty much was the only carrier willing to give up some power.
i get a feeling the iphone may be doomed even before it's birth. people will buy it off the bat because of the hype, but hype doesn't last, especially expensive hype.Comment

Re: iPhone on June 29.
I'm getting one.
Here is how I am justifying the price.
Blackberries cost a couple hundred bucks.
Ipods cost a couple hunderd bucks.
I dont have either. Now I can get all in one, with Apple software running it. Its a no brainer for me.
My number one main concern is battery life.Comment

Re: iPhone on June 29.
I'm not gonna lie, I think the iPhone is sweet, but I don't have the money to use on it, and I'm not in the market for a new phone anyway.
I've said this before....yes its expensive but I actually think its a decent value for the features it has."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Makes sense for people in that situation. I think it's a cool phone, but I don't need it or really want it right now.I'm getting one.

Re: iPhone on June 29.
No need to justify it if you have the disposable income to pay for it man and think you'll get good use out of it.I'm getting one.

As for battery life, I think that may be a legit concern. I really have no idea how long it will last. I think Apple is saying 5 hours talk or video time, 16 hours audio playback. Sounds like it should be able to last through a typical day of a couple hours of music, maybe an hour of talking, etc.Last edited by ESPNdeportes; 06-04-2007, 08:06 PM."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams
