Well it will have live traffic conditions for any route you search for on the google maps application...

VLC does play quicktime movies. I just watched it at work using VLC.

This thing is great. I would have it on launch day if i wasnt locked in with sprint for another 6 months. So unfortunately, I will have to wait until january to get one.

Yep, any phone that has access to the google maps app has the same thing, nothing new here. All you are doing is paying a ton for the Apple name.

Might not be a bad thing though, as its rumored the next version of the Iphone will drop around xmas.

First off I had a blackberry for work, and that thing was nothing but headaches for me. It was great for reading the odd email. But in my job, I had to have long responses. It was a chore to put together a competent email that didn't look like something a 12 year old would send. I'm already fighting my own spelling and typing tendencies and didn't need to fight the blackberry.

I'm not saying this is a work phone. But here's what I see. Phones have been putting out the same crap for years. The blackjack is nothing more a blackberry than it is a treo.

For me this is exactly what I've been looking for. A phone with itunes. A need to get on the web sometimes. I need to be able to send the odd text message. I need to look up directions that I can see. And I need to sync up a calander and contacts on one device because I can't remember everything.

It's the perfect device for me.

That's not true. Non-GPS enabled phones that have access to Google Maps do NOT have real-time traffic weather updates.

That hasnt been announced.

I've read that people should be able to access their corporate email using the web interface that most all companies who use outlook have....

Ok that video is amazing. Any chance of this eventually getting picked up by another carrier or did AT&T give Apple a few million reasons to stay with them exclusively?

Damnit. It would be one thing to pay this much for a phone with Verizon but I don't think I can justify spending that much and changing my carrier to an inferior service (at least in Knoxville).

My only concern would be how is that thing not going to be one huge fingerprint smudge after about 5 minutes?
