Where are you guys getting info on new iPhone? When will it be released and will it have the 3G technology? Price? So many questions.....

Its pretty much common knowledge that next gen iphone will be released in the next 45 days. Supply is now almost completely dry on the current gen model. What does that mean? Apple doesnt want people to buy iPhone now, then start crying about how a sweet product comes out two weeks later at the same price point.

By the end of June, there will no reason to not own an iphone:
- 3G
- GPS
- iPhone OS 2.0
- Enterprise connectivity.

I have the iPhone beta SDK, and the native apps I have seen are SWEET. I cant want until it goes live. There are really going to be some great iphone apps out there. Very exciting times.

and yes, Ill be ditching my current iphone for the new one when its released

People forcasting anywhere from $400-$600, depending on the capacity.

In case you don't know, Apple is not selling the iPhone anymore... It's pretty much a given these new phones will be out some time in June.

I'm ridiculously glad I held off. Edge sooooooooooo slooooooooooooooooooooow. It's almost pointless. With the addition of 3G and GPS... **** yeah, that's what they should have released in the first place.

What is Enterprise connectivity? I nkow my work email goes through Outlook, and i can check it on a webmail website (meh), but im looking to be able to have the email push through, is that possible with Outlook and iPhones?

I'll leave Verizon behind in an instant if that's true. Like, I'd sign up right now.

I wanted to upgrade to one of verizon's touch screen phones, and apparently they only care about giving discounts to new contracts. Been a customer since 2002, and can only pay $500 for the LG voyager, or wait until 2009 when my contract expires. The iphone is better than those VZW touch screen phones anyways.

I don't like that kind of black gloss finish. My lg chocolate phone has it and it gets smudged and can get slick. The fact that it's an iphone will make up for it though.

that isn't true alot of people are still scared off from att's riduclous prices and shadiness, thats the only reason i havent touched it yet.

It's not that glossy... have you ever seen the limited edition U2 iPods?

It will more than likely be just like that. It doesn't pick up fingerprints that easily. It does get them, though.

It just looks like what my phone has, but if it's different, that's fine. But damn, I hope that 2 year contract price was right. What was the current iphone going for with a new 2 year contract originally or recently? I've been interested, but was warned to wait for this version to come out first.

16 GB is 499, 8 is 399 I believe.

Comes in a lot cheaper than Verizon. With the exact same plan across both networks, my bill was $30-40 cheaper with AT&T than Verizon. Is Verizon's network better? Yes. But the iPhone is just too cool

Dag, think they'll have any trade in program or any type of discount for us early adopters?
