Just got it. I've always kinda wanted to mess around with music, but just not a guitar guy. This thing is real deep, but fun.

I would like to d'load more kits though, the beatmaker interface is kinda difficult though.

its pretty easy once you get used to it..cant wait for more updates, this app has alot of potential....I downloaded half of my personal drum kits into it, just wish there was a better way of doing that tho

So it turns out that Slingbox will not let you utilize the Slingplayer for iPhone unless you either have the Slingbox Pro or buy a new Slingbox. (To clarify, a SOLO or PRO-HD)

Screw you Sling. Take that crock of **** and shove it. (I have a SOLO but that's complete bull that they can't support older hardware when they can do it with WM and Palm phones.)

AT&T tweaks wireless terms of service to forbid video streaming, filesharing, data tethering
"Looks like AT&T's taking some aggressive steps to manage network traffic now that it's offering subsidized netbooks -- the carrier updated its data plan terms of service last night to specifically single out and prohibit "downloading movies using P2P file sharing services, customer initiated redirection of television or other video or audio signals via any technology from a fixed location to a mobile device, web broadcasting, and... any applications that tether the device... to Personal Computers or other equipment." That's an impressively strict set of rules that seemingly bans a number of apps AT&T customers are already using without complaint -- everything from SlingPlayer to Qik to Skype to Jaikuspot -- so we'll see if the company is really so tone-deaf as to try and retroactively prohibit their use, or if it'll just ignore what it can't possibly enforce. We've pinged AT&T for comment, we'll let you know what they say."

Eh, they waited until the app is pretty much released to mention this. If it was such a concern, why not bring it up earlier?

This screws a large portion of sling users. I'm not one of those but that's extremely poor management of the entire situation.

Just par for the course with Dish, who owns Sling.

Sick. I'm probably going to get an iPhone when my Sprint contract is up in October and I could just get the 32 gig so I can have all my music on it as well.

Me too. Too bad my contract doesn't end with Sprint until February '10.

Anyone having issues with the D-TV app? I think it may be due to having two different DVRs, I select to record series on a show and the app exits to the home screen without being able to select the correct DVR..

ok, i just need to get this straight..

when the new 3.0 OS drops, my phone is jailbroken, can i just download the new update and that will then remove my jailbreak? or will i have to remove my jailbreak before the update drops?

any info would be great bc im stupid with this stuff.
