It sucks Canada of all places wasn't on target for the same release date. With the the countries right next to each other I'm guessing it came down to what territories sell the most.

What the hell? That's lame, I wanted a white one. Why wouldn't they just say this at WWDC?

I think Steve Jobs would rather lacerate his own throat before copping to a shortcoming by Apple at WWDC.

That being said, I have a Droid Incredible and will be selling it and jumping back on the iPhone bandwagon once I can get my hands on a white 32GB iPhone 4.

I had a black 3Gs and figure I'll switch it up this time. The white has a nice style to it. Definitely sticks out a lot better than the white 3G and white 3Gs did.

They did it for the iPad. Right from the start they told us that the WiFi-only was coming out first, and then the 3G+WiFi later on.

Anyway, what's people's plans for pre-ordering? I'll check after it turns to midnight ET, and if the store isn't down I'll head to bed. From what I've heard everyone's expecting it to be up around 5:30am PT, which is when iPad pre-orders started.

If you want to pre order the new iphone this morning from Aplle, it's not going to happen. You can't reach them by phone, and their site is getting hammered. It's unbelievable to me there are so many people in the country that have 200 dollars to blow on a phone. I bet half of these people need to be paying bills or paying child support, but are buying a cell phone instead.

I'm going to Radioshack to pre-order mine in a couple hours, after the Ivory Coast-Portugal match. They've got a trade in deal so I'm gonna see what I can get for my old iPhone.

I think that was more understandable in the case of the 3G iPad. The fact that one paint color is available over another is a little more of a head scratcher.

I guess it works out for me, I wanted the white one but wanted to wait a couple weeks before I picked it up. Hopefully it'll be out by the end of the month or the first of July.

I was able to get a pre-order done through the website at around 1:45 PM EST this afternoon. I don't mind if I have to wait, I have my current 3G on the bay as we speak. It'd help if the screen wasn't cracked but even if I could get 150 for it since it's contract free I'd be happy.

So I'm going through the process right now, and what happened to being able to keep my current data plan at the current rate? When selecting what I have now, the price skyrockets to $90 a month before taxes!

Anyone thinking of going caseless for new Iphone. I've taken off my InCase slider case of my 3G to see how I can manage with no case before Iphone 4.

Use the apple store app to reserve the 4g. Worked like a charm!
