Done that, doesn't solve anything.

I've had them since 99, never had any issues until we got the BB Storm's, all went downhill with them after that.

Then why continue with their service? Either fork up the early termination fee or ride out your current contract and switch to another provider.

I also have not had any issues with there tech support. I was abel to get out of Storm twice with not much of a hassle when my contracts were no where near up. Maybe I just got the right person but all I had to do was explain what was going and my needs were met without much hassle. Great network and as far as I am concerned great support

Because their network is top notch.

Thanks to TJ, who got me in contact with someone who could assist me, my issue is fixed. They found my phone, issued my credit and reset my eligibility date. That's the type of service I expect, but don't always get. TJ gets the golden star today

You must. LOL I've never been able to get out of my phone early and tried numerous times. I'm always polite, and try to explain my issues in a nice manner. Always get shot down. Contract is up in April, so not too much longer.

Heck, Wall Street Journal has a huge front page article about the iPhone's release on VZ. How many phones get picked up by a new carrier and get this kind of treatment?

Heck, Wall Street Journal has a huge front page article about the iPhone's release on VZ. How many phones get picked up by a new carrier and get this kind of treatment?

I messed with the IPhone a lot in the last few weeks and I like it. I like to customize things though, and the IPhone seems to fall behind there. I'm sure it's an excellent device though; however, what you mentioned here is a good percentage of why I'm not picking it up this spring. Maybe it's my personality, but with these ads and all the gushing Verizon is doing, my first instinct is to stay clear.

I'm not sure what you mean about staying clear. Because of the popularity..?

I do understand about "customization" however. You need to jailbreak to get a lot of what Android has in that sense despite being able to do pretty much everything on both platforms. Oddly enough, there are more "hack" developers on the iPhone it seems like. But with Apple doing everything they can to curtail jailbreaking... it's never going to be as easy as the Android.

I highly expect Google to come around some way though. They pretty much just turn a blind eye on piracy and I'm sure they realize it keeps most serious developers away.

Yes, because everyone is doing it. It's the same reason I didn't wear my Red Sox hat after they won in 2004. I don't like being patronized about things to where I feel like people are BSing me. It's not the soul reason but I will admit it is part of it. When I told my wife I might hold off on it, she said, "Of course your'e not." lol

What is even funnier these are the same sources that ripped the IPhone when it was on AT&T. Now they are saying all this go figure.

It's called business my friend. They were promoting the hell out of Droid and ripping the iPhone because they didn't have it. Now they do, and I haven't seen a Droid commercial since January 11th lol.

The Home Button messed up on my phone and I paid $5 for a new one. It took me a few minutes to take it apart and replace and everything is fine again.

I'd like to swap to Verizon, because AT&T just now got 3g service here and it's light years slower than verizon's 3g. The problem I have is, I'm on my parent's plan.. and I pay them what it costs for the line and multi media. It's cheaper than having my own package. At work, they offer an additional %20 off of my bill, but it still doesn't make up what I cost by being on my parent's.
