The iPhone 5 is supposed to be a minor update. It will definitely be getting the dual-core processor, but the only other thing it might get is an aluminum back. Also, there are rumors that it might come out in September because of the Verizon iPhone. I think iOS 5 is going to be the bigger update. Those reasons were what made me get the iPhone 4 yesterday instead of waiting, although if I already had a smartphone then I probably would have waited. I think iOS 5 is going to be the bigger update.

Apple is supposedly getting rid of the home button on the new iPhone. I think it's a significant upgrade.

Because it is getting rid of the home button? Care to share why that is a significant or is my sarcastic meter not working today?

There is a rumor that they will get rid of it. Idk why as I like it.

It's a significant cause I believe that the iPhone 5 will be the first phone with a completely touch screen interface, well aside from the 4 buttons on the edge of the phone. Being the first is always significant in some way or another.

I would LOVE for them to do that and replace it with a touch sensitive button. It's the one thing I miss from my Focus.

Am I missing something? Aren't almost all android phones all touch screen? Or do you mean instead of making a touch sensitive button, they would completely get rid of the home button?

All touch screen meaning take away whatever buttons are on the bottom of your phone's screen.

All touch screen, no button thing probably won't happen, it was also rumored iPad to have no button, but it does, so I don't think that will be the case!!! Don't see it happening!

For those that have cases.. do you use it regularly? Is it always in the case? I bought the otterbox and while it's an excellent case and does a great job of protecting it, I like the feel of the iPhone out of case and it's not as bulky, easier to slip in your pocket, etc. But the phone seems way too nice to not be in a case. I feel like I have to treat it like an egg when I don't have the otterbox on it.

I have a $8 snap on case that I got off eBay. Still slick in and out of the pocket.

I have an otterbox and love it. My 3G screen smashed after it fell out of my coat pocket getting out of my vehicle last winter before I sold it and got the 4 now with an upgrade so I know to keep it well protected!

I have a Case-mate silicone case. It does a ok job of protecting it when it falls, but since its silicone its easy to take on and off if I feel like it. But its always on when I'm going somewhere.

                                I use this one: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/rev...-for-iphone-4/

It was one of the cases that was available for free, but I think it's pretty damn good regardless.
