The iPhone 5 is supposed to be a minor update. It will definitely be getting the dual-core processor, but the only other thing it might get is an aluminum back. Also, there are rumors that it might come out in September because of the Verizon iPhone. I think iOS 5 is going to be the bigger update. Those reasons were what made me get the iPhone 4 yesterday instead of waiting, although if I already had a smartphone then I probably would have waited. I think iOS 5 is going to be the bigger update.

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
Finally caved in and used my upgrade with AT&T on the iPhone 4 last weekend. Ive always said I didn't need an iPhone and would probably never buy one. Well I lied.. On both statements. I absolutely love this phone and I completely underestimated how useful it can be.

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
It's a significant cause I believe that the iPhone 5 will be the first phone with a completely touch screen interface, well aside from the 4 buttons on the edge of the phone. Being the first is always significant in some way or another.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Am I missing something? Aren't almost all android phones all touch screen? Or do you mean instead of making a touch sensitive button, they would completely get rid of the home button?Follow me on Twitter: @ADice15Comment

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
I would LOVE for them to do that and replace it with a touch sensitive button. It's the one thing I miss from my Focus.

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
For those that have cases.. do you use it regularly? Is it always in the case? I bought the otterbox and while it's an excellent case and does a great job of protecting it, I like the feel of the iPhone out of case and it's not as bulky, easier to slip in your pocket, etc. But the phone seems way too nice to not be in a case. I feel like I have to treat it like an egg when I don't have the otterbox on it.Indianapolis Colts

It was one of the cases that was available for free, but I think it's pretty damn good regardless.Comment
