In case you haven't tried it, this is simply phenomenal. VERY close to iOS5 and actually better in some cases, outside of it's impact on battery life. Comparing the two from Beta1 it is similar.

Before you ask - phone has to be jailbroken and have purchased LockInfo.

Looks neat! Just applied it. I'm deciding whether to keep it on my lockscreen as well though since I like it clean.

I use Mint. It will automatically connect to your banks/credit cards and download all the information. It's free.

How's the security for Mint.com?! I've always been a little skeptical of Third-parties having such personal information. However, it would be nice to have a tool that can I use for budgeting, expense tracking, etc.

Mint is from the developers of Intuit/TurboTax so it's pretty secure. I've never had any issues.

I use Mint also. Lately it has been a pain in the gluteus because it hasn't been syncing with my information. Something wrong with a few institutions they have. Randomly forgets to sign you back in because it doesn't store all of your secret questions and stuff. It is very convenient though in establishing a budget, knowing your spending habits, and even helping to pay down debt sooner. They also give different offers from other companies, banks, and institutions. Like a very helpful automated banking friend. I'd say even if housing have an iPhone, checkout their website and log in your information.

No, you tap it instead and it goes to either messages or another Cydia SMS app. You can configure it.

You can preview emails at the lockscreen or tap on notifications and go directly to the app that left it.

It's really good - give it a try if you can.

Same old rumors. I'm skeptical because it's the only cell phone provider that Apple can't benefit from globally technology wise and that continues to be their M-O. There are rumors someone high up in Apple was seen at China's largest cell phone provider but their size and potential consumer base is an obvious reason why.

It needs to happen though - the more providers, the customers.

That's the way I look at it too. In my opinion, there's a lot of ego involved with Apple. They want to stay the number one device/OS/tablet in the world, so it surprises me that they haven't been more aggressive when it comes to other companies. I feel like there would be a lot more people who would jump from feature/dumb phone up to a smart phone and go iPhone because of the brand recognition alone. I worked in Best Buy Mobile for almost a year, and I can say that the most asked question was, "When is this carrier going to get the iPhone?" The demand is definitely there.
