I've got this one. It was my third one. It's a hard shell with slots for the dock, speakers, volume, lock/unlock button and the power button. The entire front is open, so you may want to look into a screen protector, but so far so good and it's been about 3-4 months.

I saw that one too. Between that one and the incase slider, those seemed like the best choice.

I want to go with the incase slider in white, but Apple only has black on their site ( I read it attracts a lot of finger prints in black) and it's taking 3-4 weeks to ship. Some say Target sells them, but I couldn't find anything on their site.

As far as a screen protector, the two I looked at one, both prevent scratches but one is anti glare. I read that it makes the screen a little harder to read though?

I don't know...

I am also thinking about doing the jail break on my phone as well...lol

Any disadvantages to doing that? How does one get the applications on it?

Err...

I tried to restore my phone, said something was missing, then it said sim can't be read and now it won't turn on. I will just get the apple logo

Hopefully since it's under 14 days AT&T will exchange it. If not I'm going to raise hell!!!

After two hours of trying, I finally got it back to restored and able to sync my stuff again. Remind me never to try to jail break my iPhone ever again. I don't know what I did, but I did something and I am just so thankful I didn't F it up.

I still might try to take it back to AT&T and tell them what was going on and see if I can get an exchange since it's under the 14 days.

I though it was just the dev kit. It would be nice to see more programs.


Oh and I guess Apple is getting ready for the SDK because version 1.1.4 is out. It breaks your jailbroken iphones.

I doubt any out the box by 3rd parties, but Apple may release a couple vanilla ones.

i expect to get Lotus Notes, which will be great, since that is what my company uses

What I meant was don't expect 3rd party apps to be available on day one. This is just a SDK... meaning it has to get into developer hands first then they can have at it.

Are we sure it will be released on the 6th? I know that's the rumors, but who knows.

I wonder if it's going to cost and if the 3rd party apps will cost? Well hopefully it does come out the 6th.

Oh... I never knew there was a button the earphones that not only answer or sends calls to voice mail, but pauses music and skips to the next track...lol

Dookie, Apple has announced an event on Thursday, 3/6 and we know it's about the SDK based on the graphic they included with the announcement. That's about all we know...

I've been having a problem with my iPhone lately. Every time I plug my phone into my computer, my computer screen turns blue and a message pops up saying "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" and then say it says something about some BIOS crap. Has this happened to anyone else?
