I have a clear griffin bumper on mine. Keeps the edges clean, stops death grip. I've dropped it a couple times without problem.

Yea, I've had no problems with mine, they just say it protects the screen more than anything.

I think it depends how careful you are with your phones. If you tend to drop/break phones frequently, a more sturdy case like an otterbox would likely be your best option.

If you very rarely, if ever drop or damage your phones, I find the Apple bumpers to be perfect. They provide some protection against a fall but only add hardly any bulk while still showcasing the phone's design.

I am deathly afraid of dropping my phone so far. I went out searching for a case and didn't see a whole lot that I liked at Best Buy or the Apple store. I got a white bumper for now, which I like b/c it still shows off the phone, but I know if I drop it we're gonna have a problem. I think some type of a leather case would be good, for when I'm in the car and stuff, but can still take it out easily to use it.

I personally don't care about iPhone 5 or 6 major overhaul, the phone is pretty solid, but what needs a major update for me is the iOS, it's a solid mobile os, but is really outdated and needs to be revamped and added features, apple should really learn from jailbroken community, people aren't jailbreaking there phones for no reason

can someone explain the whole concept of closing applications that are running in the background? I get that if I tap the home button twice, all my open applications appear at the bottom of the screen and I can "close them out."

But I notice if I close out the Gmail App, when I open it back up it's right where I left off previously.

Is there a benefit to "closing" apps...battery life I assume? And does it actually do anything other than preserve battery?

So I restored my iPhone and the app store worked again. Now I'm having the same problem. I'm sure it has something to do with the hospitals wifi. Was working fine until I connected to it. Now I get the error with 3G as well.

Weird. Guess I'll restore again.

Well there is some honesty in the world. I told my neighbor about my stolen iPhone. He went to a local bar in town (small town) and told people he lost "his" new iPhone. He said it popped up on the bar minutes later. Sweet!

So it looks like the wife finally gets to replace her backflip with the iPhone 4 and I'll keep the HTC Inspire.
