You got to have the phone 1st before you can order a free case, because you have to download an app to verify you actually have an iphone 4 before they even let you ask for a free case. And you can only get a free case from the apple website, can't go to the store and get a free case.

Reception problems.......depends on 2 things

1. Your area, if ATT was always pretty bad in your area before, then it will still be bad. That is how it is out here anyway, it is on par with how it was on the 3gs for MY area.

2. How you normally hold your phone when you talk on it. For me I naturally hold the phone that way. How fast the call drops depends on coverage in your area. If the signal was weak to begin with in your area, it will drop in a matter of seconds.

One way to get around it is to either talk on speaker phone or use blue tooth.

Just to confirm, since my contract with AT&T has expired already(July 24th)if I were to renew my contract with them and get this phone, I'd only pay $200 for the phone, correct?

Well they going to run your credit score again, like they always do, don't matter if you a returning customer or not. So if your credit is good, then yeah $200. Credit not good, the deposit plus the $200 for the phone.

For any of you who have ordered the free case, have you gotten it yet?
And if you've received it already, how long did it take to ship? I know the site says 2-4 weeks but I'm curious.

Did it ship before the expected date apple had on your order for it to ship?

Mine hasn't shipped yet. Placed the order (I chose the Speck Pixelskin HD) on Jul 23, ship date is Sep 20 with a delivery date of Sep 24.

That is outrageous.

Good marketing though. Offer a "free" case, but make it not available for a month and make it where pretty much everyone will go ahead and buy one.

I ordered just a bumper, It hasn't shipped yet so I'm wondering if I can cancel it and order a different case? Anyone tried that at all? I don't mind the bumper, I just want a clear cover to go over the screen (had one on my 3GS) and maybe the back.

Are there any cases that come with a screen protector , or pretty much are one? Or does anyone know where I could find a screen cover by chance? I've checked local stores and AT&T, but nothing so far. If it comes with a cover forth back, that'd be preferred. I atleast want something on th screen to protect it.

But a screen protector online from either Power Support or SGP. Don't waste your money on anything else.

Best Buy also offers free Zagg sides for reward members but they're "ehh." Best value I've found is with PhantomSkinz (google). Buy the back only and you'll also get sides. Use the summer code to get two for the price of one.

edit whatever you want to be 30 seconds or less with whatever program of your choosing (its super easy, especially on a Mac with Garage Band's direct export to iTunes option). Convert it to .mp4, and then rename it .m4r and open in iTunes

The two holes at the bottom. Is one a speaker and one the mic I assume? Making sure they aren't both speakers and 1 is busted.

For the iPhone 4, the speaker is on the right and mic on the left.

CDMA iPhone all but official. Verizon or Sprint users are going to be pretty happy next year.
