That technobufffalo guy jon4lakers tested 7 phones on his website a couple of days ago. The iphone 3gs, iphone 4, samsung captivate, nexus one, droid x, htc aria and evo 4g.

Now mind you that guy was squeezing the hell out of those phones on technobuffalo.

Iphone 3gs and iphone 4 dropped bars
Samsung captivate dropped bars quicker then the iphone. Appears their attenae is on the right side.

Nexus one dropped a couple of bars.

Droid X dropped no bars, their attenae is on the top.

HTC aria and HTC Evo 4g dropped 1 bar, however their attenae is on the top as well.

People are paranoid. Instead of people squeezing fruit in the super market, now they going to squeeze their phones before they buy it. Nuts....

That's pretty neat. Maybe for the iPhone 6 the IR transmitter will be included in the phone. Anyone have this and the application? I wonder how much harder this is than using the Harmony remotes.

I like physical buttons on my remote, no way I would be able to use that thing. I would have to look down at the phone every time I wanted to do something.

Ok it is on now. Get your free bumper case ! Yes case, 1 per a phone. You have to download the bumper case app, yes it is really an app, they verify your phone and you get 1 case. Arrives in 3 to 5 weeks.

It's actually not a bumper case app. You have plenty cases to choose from.

I'm actually having trouble deciding. I like Belkin's, but they splashed their name in big letters down the back of one.

possibly but there are a lot of phones being made in Asia that are being delayed, maybe they got caught up. I'm not sure the so called issue would be fixed with iPhone 4. Wouldn't they have to change the design?

Not really, they could easily put a thicker plastic strip in there between the gaps internally without having to change how the outside of the phone looks. But far as why for the delay, parts I guess.

Damn near every smartphone that came out since May has been having severe supply shortages. The HTC Incredible, Evo, Droid X, Iphone 4 and the Samsung phones had supply issues.

So probably just a case of too many smartphones being released in a short window.
