I'll be joining team iPhone in 3 business days.

Quick questions - what are the 5 MUST OWN apps to get me started? Is it worth it to jailbreak it? What screen protector should I invest in?

Atomic Web Browser (full screen, multi touch, etc.), one of the many textfree programs, soundhound (my preference over shazam), Netflix, The Weather Channel, USA Today, AOL Mapquest (free), dropbox, Slingbox, SlackerRadio, Zumocast... I could probably go on. That should get you started.

For a SP, SGP or Power Support. Crystal clear, don't cover up the beauty of the iPhone screen.

Another noob question

This is my first smartphone that utilizes the micro-sim, and I have a regular *** sim card. How do I transfer all of my contacts onto the new iphone?

When I first got my iPhone, I cut up my old sim card so that it fit.

If you bought it at the at&t store they can transfer over all of your contacts. I would think they would do this for you even if you bought it somewhere else since you are still using the service.

This isn't meant to sound harsh, but is it not common knowledge that they can transfer over your contacts? Once a week I see on facebook people wanting numbers because they got a new phone.

N/P. I've tried every browser app that I could think of was completely happy once I found AB. Plus, it works for the iPad as well.

Yeah, but I still got one it is a blue one that is really cool looking. I love this phone and the internet browsing is sweet. I just like the way it feels better than the Captivate.

I recieved the Speck Pixelskin HD (free case program) and it's pretty nice.

I also ordered a fiber carbon skin ($5 Ebay) for the back that I'm gonna combo with a black Apple bumper that a friend of mine is shipping me. That bumper + carbon fiber back seems like a slick look.

I'll post some pics when I get it together.
