Not an iPhone user but looked at videos of the new operating system because I was annoyed with all the hype.

It looks MUCH better than the previous versions. Actually makes me consider getting one, even though I just got my new phone so that's not gonna happen.

It's cleaner and more professional-looking. Even though I always hear about how iOS is user friendly, for some reason I always found it extremely clunky and tough to use. Felt that way about all Apple products---and we have plenty in the house. This seems much easier to use. Also the Palm Pre-style "card" multitasking is absolutely phenomenal. I've been missing that from my Pre.

I don't love it, but don't hate it. I miss the quick twitter/facebook update bar from the Notifications drop down and miss a visual weather instead of it saying the weather. Nice the iPad finally got weather though.

I'm also not a fan of how the music is organized, and why in the world can't you set the thumbnail for artists/albums? I have a various album that is all Chrsitmas music, and it's some random album that has nothing to do with Christmas or any song in the album when I view "Various Artists" under Artists. LOL

Loving the update. iOS was getting stale and this was a nice way to revitalize the look and feel of the phone.

The first option is better, but the second takes way more time than it needs to, especially when it's taken no time at all in the past to choose an album. I understand that there are other options, I'm just saying they shouldn't be necessary. At the very least I should be able to choose how they're sorted, by date, alphabetically, or whatever.

- Open the music App
- Click More
- Click Edit
- Drag Albums down to the task bar replacing radio, playlists, songs, or artists
- Get 1-click access to albums again

I don't know why they couldn't just make it so you click Artists and it shows you the list of albums for that artist. Then you click on an album and you get the songs from that album. Maybe that will be in an update.

You can edit all the metadata in iTunes, including setting the cover art.

The update has been great so far. Love the control panel. Turning wifi on/off on the fly is where it's at.

while true, the thing about it is that with this phone there no need to disable wi-fi or bluetooth if they're not in use. now if the control panel was customizable...

a thing that i like is being able to see your percentage charge in the lockscreen for those of us like myself that don't like to have they're battery percent indicator turned on.

overall, i love the new look and am very pleased with the similar feel.

If I leave my wifi on at work it will try to search for networks it can pick up. Disabling this increases battery life.

Right? Or am I just an idiot (this is highly likely)?

Thanks I had to do a hard reset for it to show up. It only showed the date at first .

Has anyone else's battery life improved significantly? I just went through a whole day and am still at 84%. This is normal usage too.
